Fax your MP, now, it will only take 5 minutes. Parliament will debate Iraq on Wednesday and will vote on whether to allow Blair to back Bush's war. Its up to you to stiffen your MP's resolve.

If you follow the web link to  http://www.faxyourmp.com
you can do it now online very very quickly.

Here is the letter I sent my MP. Please feel free to use it as a template for your letter--

"I regret that I must say that unless you are seen to speak in parliament and to vote against the planned invasion and occupation of Iraq neither I nor many of your constituents will be willing to support you in the next general election. This is a general problem for the Labour Party: many of those who voted for Labour in the two previous general elections will either vote Lib Dem or simply not vote at all, if this murderous attack on Iraq goes forward.

I am aware that the decision to oppose your party leadership will not be an easy one for you to take, but I hope that I may comfort you with the thought that a willingness to stand on a matter of principle against the will of the Cabinet was central to the successful political careers of Harold Wilson, or indeed much earlier Winston Churchill. Know also, that if you take the right decision, the voters of XXXXXXX will keep you in Westminister.

I am grateful for the service you have given to ZZZZZZZ and hope that you will find a way towards representing the will of the vast majority of your constituents in preventing parliament lending its sanction to this act of premeditated mass murder."

Dear

I have a single question which only requires a yes or no
answer.

Are you willing to publicly oppose Blair's stance on Iraq ?

Anything less than "yes" will guarantee that you will never
receive my vote again.

According to the latest survey's fewer than one in ten
Britons support a war without a second UN resolution. Other
polls show that most Britains do not believe that Britain
should even be seeking a second resolution.

The anti-war march which I attended on Saturday was the
largest demonstration in British history. Never before have
the British public spoken so clearly on an issue.

This march can be viewed as Blair's contribution to history.
It really is an impressive achievement, but it's
significance has escaped Blair for the moment. It required
an extraordinary level of arrogance and deceit to galvanise
the British public into action on this scale.

Blair has fundamentally misunderstood his position. He is an
elected representitive, not a dictator. He has spent months
doing everything in his power to win the public to his point
of view using propoganda, spin and outright lies. Number 10
has been caught red handed passing off plagarised, decade
old student papers as the considered opinions of the
intelligence services. The only deviations from the original
were crude and transparent manipulations made to heighten
the emotional impact. The intelligence services themselves
are desperate to distance themselves from the one-sided,
childish drivel emanating from Blair's office.

We no longer care what Blair's position on the war is. He is
irrelevent and must either resign or be removed from power.
Blair sold out British interests in exchange for the
illusion that he held real influence in Washington. It is
disgusting to watch a British prime minister act as a
sychophantic appeasnik to a deranged and illegitimate US
administration.

How dare Blair pretend he is doing this for the good of the
Iraqi people ? Blair's allies in this venture are the very
people who supported and supplied Saddam Hussein while he
was gassing and torturing them. The people of Iraq do not
want Saddam Hussein, but they want to be carpet bombed by
Britain and the US even less.

This country is not going to war against Iraq. Blair no
longer governs Britain, he has no credibility remaining. He
was our elected representitive, but he no longer represents
us. The only question remaining is how much more damage
Blair will do to the labour party before he leaves.
