Let’s put the thinking people of the world on a “heightened state of alert” concerning the potential misinformation that may emerge in the upcoming days as the warmongers spin the results of the supposed interrogations of Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, being labeled the mastermind of the S-11 attacks.
Mohammed was supposedly apprehended in Pakistan along with a Pakistani man and another miscellaneous man of ambiguous Arab nationality. The parents of the Pakistani man from whose house the three were reported to have been seized have stated, however, that their
son was the only person arrested in the raid on their home and that it seems impossible that he was linked to terrorism because he was “mentally slow.” These statements have raised suspicions that Mohammed may have been in custody for some time (he’s been on the run for ten years) and that news of his capture is being pulled out at this critical juncture for political/ PR reasons.
Maybe the Bush counter-terrorism forces have stepped up to demonstrate that the Bush brigade can actually succeed at something.
Maybe, however, they’re going to go for the gold and the tough, secret CIA interrogations of Mohammed are going to conveniently establish a direct link between Iraq and the events of
S-11.
AP writer John J. Lumpkin reports that the goals of these interrogations include the hopes that “he can detail how Sept. 11 was put together, answering long-standing questions about the plot's origins: Who chose the World Trade Center and Pentagon as targets? Who picked Sept. 11 as the date?”
In the event that the answers to any of the questions conveniently point to Iraq---Don’t Believe the Hype! The Bush administration has destroyed all vestiges of credibility among thinking people around the world. Let’s give these boldface liars no room to play any trumped up trump cards to resuscitate their desperate efforts for international support for an attack on Iraq.
