This morning at 8.15am a crack group of activists assembled at St James park tube station, present were comedian/activist Mark Thomas, Squadron Leader Plucker, Paul from Undercurrents (07973298359-contact for footage of these actions) members of CND and CAAT and myself, at approximately 8.30am we walked the short distance to the new Labour party HQ where a tipper full of horse shit was on standby, the team were straight into action, the tipper pulled up outside the front entrance of Labour party HQ and proceeded to dump 14 sacks of horseshit right on their doorstep, thus blocking any exit/entrance! A placard with the words 'US/UK 2nd resolution' was ceremoniously placed in the shit, which was also adorned with white ribbons www.whiteribbon.org.uk, the team then quietly dispersed as the cops pulled up sirens ablaze, fortunately they didn't realise who had dumped the shit so we were free to get on with our next target,DESI who were meeting just round the corner at The Queen Elizabeth II conference Hall. Myself, Paul (undercurrents) and Chris and Martin from CAAT www.caat.org.uk approached the main entrance, Martin and Chris produced two tins of blood (food colouring and wallpaper paste!!) and proceeded to tip it out all over the steps of the main entrance, the assembling warmongers would have to walk through blood to enter (makes a change from them spilling it!), immediately Chris and Martin were pounced upon by what I believe to be a special branch officer and the conference hall security, it was at this point all 3 of us dropped to the ground, if they wanted to remove us we weren't going to make it easy! We were then dragged off the premises to the pavement where a CAAT banner was unfurled, it wasn't long before the cops arrived (well they were only round the corner dealing with all our horseshit!!), Chris was the 1st to be arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, he was led off by the arresting officers into a waiting police van, it was then Martin's turn, neither resisted arrest and both went peacefully. With London on a high terror alert the cops were also looking at the action as a possible toxic attack!! It was explained that the blood was just red food colouring and wallpaper paste, no doubt samples were taken, with both Martin and Chris in custody I wasn't hanging around to find out in case the cops changed their minds about letting me go!
So, if you have access to a pile of horse shit you know what to do with it!
