Anyhow, there is some discussion here about this issue -- I think actions like this shouldn't be supported:
Chris
Explain yourself C

Please explain what your criticism is Chris. What's your problem with dos actions?
As I see it we need to attack the powers that be with everything we have at our disposal. Over and over again, until they begin to crumble as they surely will.

Do you really think you or any one else has the right to stop them? Think about it...and stop being thick.
Allie
Oh dear Chris :-/

Chris you are getting very tedious now.
YOU have posted the same comment so often that IT should be considered spam.
I'm getting pretty sick of you neo-liberal P.C. types who can't just let people get on with what they wanna do without sticking your nose in. Do you do this on demos too?
I bet you would have handed the black bloc over to the cops in Seattle.
Go lobby your MP or something, give us all a rest.

Allie put it quite well in a comment here:
Regarding the comments from 'no name' about being PC, liberal and the rest -- sorry I don't get trolled that easily.
Chris
fair play...

I believe in freedom of speech too, but I kinda draw the line at propaganda. Propaganda (IMHO) is not a valid method of communicating ideas, but simply mind control over the weak/ill-informed.
I'm sure you would agree that exploiting the weak for personal gain is a pretty morally corrupt practice.
The government is lieing about it's reasons for the war, methods of attack, targets of bombs, innocent victims etc etc. I don't feel too chuffed about that and neither do quite a few others all over the world (quite a few million at last count).
The government failed when they tried to convince us that a war was "morally just" and when WMD could not be found they just fucked off the UN and went for it anyway. The government have ignored our right to be heard and listened to. By ignoring that right I feel that they have forfeited their right to continue in power.
Governments are MEANT to be run FOR the people, not despite of them.
Tony + George have been totally out of order from day one.
They have acted illegally/immorally and should be stopped by any means neccessary.
(I've read all your arguements to stop DDoS, still not convinced.A few may be but my guess is that the majority are still fuckin outraged at the government and just want to fight back)

What about that Java thing that opens up 16 windows of a site again and again? At least people who want to do can do it, rather than forcing Internet users to take part without them realising it. I heard it was quite effective, it brought down the Number 10 website a while back.
