Early this evening (sunday), there is a "Support Our Troops" night at The Thai Garden Restaurant at 82, Kennington Road opposite the Imperial War Museum (London). Please come and protest about the use of our troops in this illegal, immoral, illogical war. "Support Our Troops - By Bringing Them Home"

Early this evening (sunday), there is a "Support Our Troops" night at The Thai Garden Restaurant at 82, Kennington Road opposite the Imperial War Museum (London).

The evening will be attended by M.P.s, military personnel, and celebrities, and it is being broadcast by Forces TV. It is sponsored by OK Magazine and The Daily Express.

Please come and protest about the use of our troops in this illegal, immoral, illogical war. "Support Our Troops - By Bringing Them Home"

Exact time is not known, but it will be early evening, probably from 6ish, so please arrive at 5.

There will be a samba band and many leafletters blockading the restaurant.

Please phone your friends and post on activist lists - let's see if we can mobilise fast for this.

I think that the anti-war movement should give emphasis to the slogan: "bring the troops home". I think it is an especially effective demand in answer to right wingers who say we should be "supporting British troops". We should say that the best way to support them is to bring them home immediately.

Our soldiers are so brave they don't have the balls to question authority. And let's not forget they joined the army for the job of killing people.
Any soldier who shows real bravery and says NO to Blair will get my support but hired thugs will not.
