As a trained medical person I really advise you to seek medical attention you are displaying symptoms of paranoia of some sort. You can easily look up the results of last year's local elections in your area - on the local council's website, for one place.

I did this, and discovered that in Hulme ward, near where I live in Manchester, in 2002 Labour won the seat with about 600 votes, and the Greens came second, with 500. So I'm goin accross to Hulme on Sat. to give out leaflets for the Greens. Reckon they'll win anyway, but I'd like Labour to get the soundest kicking available.

Others could follow a similar strategy: research key areas for campaigning on the internet, then get in touch with the local party - details also available online.

Alternatively just voting Lib Dem might be OK as a warning to Labour to cut the cancer of the current cabinet out of their heart.

I would vote BNP, but there aren't any candidates in my area (not enough Asians to piss everyone off with their whingeing about 'racism', I guess), so I'll just have to vote for 'none of the above', like I always do - I vote but spoil the ballot.

Local elections, I'll be going to see who's standing, but I haven@t come across anyone in Southwark coucil, Camberwell ward who would deserve to be elected. Asked there views about this invasion on Iraq, and they haven;t got the nerve to give THERE opinion.I wrote to each councillor in Camberwell;

Vicky Naish telling me she was not my local councillor and had forwarded my letter but told me about a meeting with Ian Wingfield.
Veronica Ward telling me about a meeting called by Dulwich and West Norwood constituency Labour party with Tessa Jowell MP the main speaker, which had been, and how the meeting was so full that members of the public had to be turned away. Again another flyer for Ian Wingfield. She then suggested if I was linked to an organisation, to try and put together a delegation at the next coucil meeting. again no answer to my questions.

Who said he fully supported the action of the goverment, and in particular Tony Blair. The reason he gave for not debating or publicly commenting on it was because they have no electrol mandate to discuss foreign policy. He later said there are future debates to be had on the future of Iraq, protection of the Kurdish population, a resolution to the Israeli/palestine conflict and the future roles of th UN and the EU but he believed they must take place at the end of the military conflict. Then surprise, surprise, another flyer for Ian Wingfield, leader of Southwark Labour group, saying he hoped he would be given the courtesy to speak, but feared he would be shouted down in the same way as Tessa Jowell at the recent meeting. He also included a full statement by the prime minister to the house of commons on Iraq.

(I didn't realise Mr Mcinerney had withdrawn his support from the goverment until reading in the South London press, after I had handed the letters in)
He unequivocally opposed the war and had done so from the onset, he also explained he had withdrawn his support at the Tessa Jowell meeting. He passionatly explained how he felt this was an unjust, illegal, immoral and illogical war.

Ian Wingfields meeting turned out to be a meeting called by the sociallist alliance "where is new labour going". This man sat like he had been so brave to come, and again would only Quote planned answers, soley away from anything to do with what he thought. There was a woman spoke of personal feelings for family in Iraq, which made me cry. I looked at this man and there was nothing, except a man who neither sat one way or another, he sat in total control. Not for much longer I hope.

The delegation went in for the coucil meeting 30th April.

It would certainly serve tinpot tony right if the BNP took all tiny tonys votes. There is not much difference between New order national socialist labour and the BNP. In fact New order labour make the BNP look like saints.
