None of the early reports have acknowledged the large body of reports on the genetic manipulation of Corona viruses in the laboratory nor have they considered the possibility that the unique virus arose as a laboratory accident or purposeful experiment. The growing global epidemic of Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) has been pinned down to a Corona virus. The disease has spread rapidly from its first appearance in China and impacted heavily on Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Toronto, Canada. The disease agent was identified as a Corona virus with a unique RNA sequence not directly related to known human and animal viruses (1)

None of the early reports have acknowledged the large body of reports on the genetic manipulation of Corona viruses in the laboratory nor have they considered the possibility that the unique virus arose as a laboratory accident or purposeful experiment. I have searched out a number of studies on the genetic manipulation of Corona viruses and describe a few such studies below.

Corona virus from a disease of pigs that produces symptoms similar to SARS has been manipulated to create a viral vector to propagate foreign genes (2).

The Corona virus coat protein genes have been manipulated to alter the tropism (species attacked by the virus) of the virus (3).

The gene for the pig corona virus coat protein (controlling viral tropism) was propagated in tobacco plants (4).

Prodigene, a company specializing in production of crop biopharmaceuticals also produced an edible vaccine for swine corona virus (5) and information on whether or not that product was the one being field tested in a disastrous field test has been deemed confidential information.

These brief comments are musing on an ongoing investigation but might provide some useful background information to others.

I should have been clearer..
I meant to say that the transmission to man seems to be from Chicken.

Coronoviri are found in many species of mammals and birds naturally.

These easily/commonly modifiable virus seem to have been genetically modified (GM).

A type of corono virus hitherto unknown has been purified from infected people. Scientifically this is still not proof of the casue of the disease.

This is a good read explainig how (in biotechspeak) horizontal transmision is a common goal of the biotech industry and the pigs who have been trying to weaponise pathogens.

these pharmy comps.as usual are ploughing ahead,
no doubt in competition with prodigene.
Wherever the sars came from, the "research" going
on with these companies working with gm crops are
a major threat to us all. Saddams WMD, is a joke compared to what this goverment is allowing, pharmaceutical companies, are protected and mistakes covered up.
For example(I realise this is going off the sars)
but the group of drugs NSAID ( non steriod anti inflamtry
drugs) e.g. Ibuprofen, Diclofenic etc. killed 25,000
people in the year 2001-2. Unfortunately this information, by British Medical Ass.? or some governing medical body, don a double spread page on this, in
Arthritis monthly. They went on to explain that these drugs cause the lining of the stomach to tear resulting in haemorraging. Most of the people who died, were old, and some dying anyway. So that seemed to be allright then.
I cannot believe 25,000 peoples familys were told how this drug contribted to there deaths. A couple of years on and what do we have a warning on the packet.
And yes, a sweet form for our children.
So from the seriosness of bio chemicals to your over the counter products, these companies cannot get away with it,
but they do. Have a real look at anything being prescribed
or bought over the counters, then get yourself some herbs,
hopefully ones not grown near there dreaded gm's.

Those comments have horrific content: "deemed confidential information" what nonsense, those orphaned and widowed must be able to claim against the scientist who made the genetic modifications that enabled this disease, and against the Directors and the investors who funded it. Singapore should sue for the emergency measures it is taking to prevent the spread.

I had a phone call this morning from one who had gone to a round table discusssion about GM called by the EU. When they were all gathered to discuss whether GM was safe, Hans Fischler opened the discussion by telling those people who had travelled at great personal expense from across Europe, that the decision had been taken that GM food would be produced in Europe so that the customers could have choice, and that it was up to those who wanted to produce GM food to prevent the contamination of their crops by GM pollen. The EU has perviously said that people who suffer damage as the result of GM pollution will not be allowed to sue for
redress.

Fischler prepared a noose for his own neck. These latest reports about SARS indicate that it is probably the result of GM treatment in pigs. Scientists and Corporation Directors, and Government employees who should have ensured adequate protection are at this moment shredding files, or perhaps calling the fire brigade to the unaccountalbe fire that is destroying their records. At this moment Government Scientists will be faking up alternative explanations to cover their criminal irresponsibility. Editors are directing their hacks to present plausible waffle to obscure the truth.

The horrid truth is that Capitalism is in collapse and the Insurance Companies are rapidly becoming unable to cover the risks they insure. No journalist or Government has thought through the consequences of this. That may be one of the reasons for the war in Iraq,it makes good smoke to distract.

Prepare to build a completely new Society, the old is failing fast.

DYING FOR DRUGS

Sorry I'm going off the sars issue again, but I don't
know how to put up a headline on the newswire.
I'll learn. The documentary tonight on channel 4 dying for drugs, I missed the beginning but caught most of it.
It showed how goverments and pharmaceutical comps. are
continueing to get away with murder. If you go
