Weapons of mass destruction were found in Iraq!

Realist | 05.06.2003 09:12

Two mobile laboratories capable of producing biological weapons were found a few weeks ago in Iraq. These units were what were used to produce anthrax and botulism. Althoughs tests revealed no trace of the substances there can be no doubt they were used to produce biological weapons. Documents were also found in Iraqi government buildings about Al Qaeda and communication between Al Qaeada and the Iraqi regime.

This should show the skeptics that Iraq was a very serious threat indeed and simply had to be dealt with. The people who strongly deny that the discovered labs were not used for producing biological weapons are similar to the holocaust deniers who deny that there were gas chambers at Aushwitz and claim that Zylon B gas was only used to delouse clothes! Maybe the anti-war people should hire David Irving to help them deny that weapons of mass destruction did not exist in Iraq.

Saddam Hussein was a threat to world peace and stability in the Middle East, because he once had a vial of botulism. The USA who has more WMD's than every other nation combined and uses them freely, is no threat to global security and humanity. And the USA shall maintain peace, with more war, unless they destroy the planet first.

"These units were what were used to produce anthrax and botulism. Althoughs tests revealed no trace of the substances there can be no doubt they were used to produce biological weapons"

Genius. So in spite of tests showing the units hadn't been used to produce anthrax and botulism and no anthrax or botulism being found, there's no doubt about it. Well, I'm glad that's cleared up then, I was beginning to think that that nice Mr Blair might have fibbed to us.

Don't you have any friends or anything. There MUST be more to life than just parroting discredited garbage two weeks late in a vain attempt to wind people up.

Ask yourself; are you HAPPY with your life?

AND another thing

If you look around any city centre on a friday night you can find "small mobile units capable of producing botulism". They're called "hot dog vans", you silly little man.

The "mobile bioweapons labs" lies

05.06.2003 11:39

FROM SECRECY NEWS
 http://www.fas.org/sgp/news/secrecy/2003/06/060203.html

President Bush hailed the discovery in Iraq of trailer-mounted biological agent production facilities as concrete evidence of a clandestine Iraqi biological weapons program. But the closer one looks at the Central Intelligence Agency report on the mobile facilities, the more ambiguous the case appears.

In its report last week, the CIA said that the mobile plants could only be used for illicit production of biological weapons.

"We have investigated what other industrial processes may require such equipment -- a fermentor, refrigeration, and a gas capture system -- and agree with the experts that BW agent production is the only consistent, logical purpose for these vehicles," the CIA report said.

But this seems to be an overly hasty conclusion.

"Mobile pilot plant fermentation facilities are not uncommon," observed chemist George C. Smith. In fact, they have a sufficient number of conventional applications, he noted, that they are commercially marketed. One such mobile fermentor is described here:

 http://www.johnmorris.com.au/html/NewBrunswick/bioflow5000.htm
The CIA report said the Iraqi plant design could be specifically identified as a banned weapons system because of its device for capturing exhaust gases: "The capability of the system to capture and compress exhaust gases produced during fermentation is not required for legitimate biological processes and strongly indicates attempts to conceal production activity."

But that's not necessarily so either, said Smith, a senior fellow at GlobalSecurity.org.

Thus, a design for a mobile bioreactor that is used to decontaminate soil at the U.S. Department of Energy Savannah River site features an optional "noxious gas adsorber" that has nothing to do with biological weapons production. See the schematic diagram on this page:

 http://www.wpi.org/Initiatives/2002/20020603.asp
"Perhaps the CIA analysts are correct when they claim the fermentors in Iraq are part of a biological weapons program," Dr. Smith said. But "a vapor trap is no smoking gun indicating the labs must be for bioweapons production."

Furthermore, "it is not that difficult to think of legitimate reasons for the generation and uses of microbial products in Iraq." He cited the production of Bacillus thuringiensis for pest control as one illustrative hypothesis.

In short, the CIA report fails to prove the case that it asserts.

Russia, the Iraqi scientists, and most experts, seem to think they were legitimate things making hydrogen orsomething.

A Threat To Us All!

05.06.2003 16:16

I have discovered to my horror that there's a type of building, first put up in Arab states but now insidiously infiltrating the rest of the world, that contain:

- information of potentially great use to terrorists in constructing biological and chemical weapons

- reports, maps and descriptions of areas containing sensitive miltary sites crucial to defence

- anti-American and anti-Israel material

- Muslim holy texts and calls for Jihad.

And not only are people allowed to view all this stuff without any kind of background check, but in many cases are encouraged to photocopy material to take away!

They're called libraries! Surely something should be done?
