Incidentally, in 1960s Vietnam, the indecorous behaviour of off-duty American troops towards Vietnamese women angered many Vietnamese men enough to make them join the Viet Cong, and the fact that the US presence in Vietnam caused prostitution to go through the roof also had the same effect.

There's a difference between looking at images and creating them––if the imperialists' in Iraq are abusing children, then that's a different matter from the viewing of images which may not have even been of Iraqi children and may not have depicted non-consensual acts. The colonial rape and pillage of Iraq, including the standard torture and brutalisation of it's people are different from people's sexual persuasions and to equate the two is to subscribe to the ideology of the imperialists. No doubt the same people (probably self-proclaimed "leftists" or "socialists") who subscribe to this reactionary filth also call for legislation to increase the sentences of people breaking Age of Consent laws––which equate murder and rape with consensual sex. Would you also state that the terror bombing, shooting of protesters and general rape of Iraq is the same as child porn?

Western, relatively well-heeled paedophiles frequently go to poor countries where children might be prepared to engage in prostitution or pornography for the price of a square meal. Also, the police may well turn a blind eye in return for a bribe in such places.
In the chaotic and downtrodden Iraq of today, there may well be many vulnerable children like that, and it is hardly surprising that there are "liberators" prepared to take advantage of the fact.
Introducing discussion of the age of consent is a red herring. What we have here is imperialism. whose exploitation often includes a sexual aspect.

To the person who is defending the porn ..etc Regardless whether your soldiers have taken advantage of the invasion or just taken these pictures with them from your "civilised, even children are abused" country, the fact remains it is imperlism which made this muderer wake head high in others country. Further the fact remains that it is imperlism which enabled him bringing and may be impossing your filth on us. So it imperlism and will live to see how it will end.
