Blair telling the Chinese off about their anti-subversion laws

I heard Blair on the radio this morning telling the chinese off about their anti-subversion laws. How funny is that? Has anyone been on any demos lately? even in Liverpool the cops stand around shoving camaras in your face - nearly everyone who does not follow the the guidlines for imprisoned Britian is labbelled a terrorist.
Where are all the true radicals, the true revoluntinaries - does the world look like its changed for the better or something - looks likes its getting worse to me.

Despite your, no doubt traumatic, experiences going on demos in this country, or 'imprisoned Britain' as you call it, how can you possible compare your life of protest to those who truly suffer in a country like China? I think that you will find that freedom of movement, association, communication, labour laws, health access, accountability, etc, etc, are just a tad different between the two countries.

China vs UK response to Paul Edwards

Off course I acknowledge China is a lot more reppressive than the UK. But we hardly live in a democracy, ticking a box ten times in our life doesn't proove we live in a democracy - and the Neo-Fascists running the show in this country dont need to shoot people and murder people ( although they do - and get away with it) - becasue they pacify us all with a giro or with mortgage or whatever. But see how tolerant the state are or the cops when you actually challange slightly their authority. Its a case of Sit down, don't complain, becasue if you try to do something effective - we'll make sure we destroy you.

what what?

Labour laws, health access, accountability are the domains of Chinese (PRC) success.
True there are capitalist practices introduced in worrying 'free trade zones' but the everyone has somethign to learn from the labour laws of China. If you have to make comparisionsyou have to be fair and free from racism.
Do you know that there are about ten different fields in the UK where there is law against unions?
Even the other unions are infiltrated to the core by anti-labour law pigs.
Health access, what the fuck are you on about? A developing nation can do onyl what it can do and true the UK NHS has been a leading light in this field in the past but is it changing or not towards an inaccessible model?
Accountability ....heheh....I suggest you look into the UK Military Intelligence services' accountability!

The other aspects you point out are disputable if you have your head stuck up the queen's arse .... but not for any sensible human being.

I suggest you read up the link provided by the original post.

For more detailed but somewhat dtaed (due to the steady nature of the excellent articles) I suggest you Wake Up / pull your head out of the shit hole.

Sorry RAM Don't know what you are on about????

23.07.2003 16:04

Sorry Ram aint got a clue what you are on about - but China is a reppresive country, so is the UK.
Gramsci ( not that I'm a Marxist) when he was developing his Theory of Hegemony was sitting in an Italian Prison wondering why Musolini had so much support for his policies - becasue he wasn't directly using mass reppression against the mass of people - and he coined the term 'Hegemony' - what Mussolini had done was make people believe they had a stake in the system. Thats what UK governemtns have been doing since the end of the 2nd world War. We were not given the NHS, SS etc becasue the ruling class decided we deserved it - we were bought off - becasue six years of intense war - and a workign class returning from fighting were not going to tolerate the old days of poverty. But you can bet - any sembelance of radical resistence and the snides and the nazis will come running out of there wife beating houses and turn the guns on dissentors. Now lets get serious about changing things - and lets build a series revoluntinary movement - or else stop pontificating.

I was replying to Paul exclusively. Hope things are more clear.

Anyway to your point about China and UK being both repressive....the point to note is that Chinese repression is an ongoing 53 year old affair. Mao said that the power was at the end of the gun and did get the imperialists out of China. Made huge abmounts of mistakes but it si all transparent and everyone knows who exactly did what and hence 'China (PRC) has greater accountability'. Anything goes wrong, everyone knows who is responsible...the communist party! even within the communist party the structure is very clear.... remember resignations after Tianamen square?
Now contrast it with the the public school buggered pigs ruling over us...royaly, freemasons, iluminati, knights of templars, God knows who else...and for how long??
Infact it is our pigs that fucked up China (coastal belt -- opium) so much that they are in a long comback to reality.

%3 years of Chinese revelution has ben totally progressive and no one can deny that.

Unlike our braindead fuck up for which there are many prime examples in this news wire itself!

Ah Ram the lover of dreams and fantasy

23.07.2003 20:17

Now I understand - thought I was dreaming - to find someone who is a great supporter of China. I thought Mao wasn't such as bad guy - and I agree the revoluntion must be continual. But the problem lies in one man taking over - and to see china today as some type of untopia is evading the truth. I agree with you - like cuba - at least people have more of a say - but at the end of the day - if we cant dance our dance - what is the point? What are we fighting for - to have equal dsay on how this world is run - or to let some lefty public scholl boy tell us what to do.
No gods no masters

Censored - Chinese Revolution

23.07.2003 21:51

ram you are publishing rubbish here.

/Anyway to your point about China and UK being both repressive....the point to note is that Chinese repression is an ongoing 53 year old affair/

No repression before Mao - rubbish.

/Mao said that the power was at the end of the gun and did get the imperialists out of China. Made huge abmounts of mistakes but it si all transparent and everyone knows who exactly did what and hence 'China (PRC) has greater accountability'. Anything goes wrong, everyone knows who is responsible...the communist party! even within the communist party the structure is very clear/

And replaced the imperialists with a new set of leaders..... a new class of bureaucrats to administer the whims of the chinese communist party.

/.... remember resignations after Tianamen square?/

Remember protesters camped out in the square, remember their lifeless torn and crushed bodies as tanks accelerated into the square and over them. Remember the tanks reversing back over the bodies crushing protest into the ground. Resignations? Resigned to wealth and prestige on the back of murder.

/Now contrast it with the the public school buggered pigs ruling over us...royaly, freemasons, iluminati, knights of templars, God knows who else...and for how long??
Infact it is our pigs that fucked up China (coastal belt -- opium) so much that they are in a long comback to reality./

The comeback to reality being the capitalisation of China. Forcing Chinese peasants off the land and into factories. Factories created by and invested in by imperialists in this country, in this city - Liverpool CC hand in glove with Liverpool chamber of commerce sending profit seeking delegations to China.

/%3 years of Chinese revelution has ben totally progressive and no one can deny that/

Consider it denied ram.

Mao had the biggest dick ever -- jealous?

24.07.2003 03:47

> No repression before Mao - rubbish.

Did you know how many millions of Chinese died due to the second white war? why?
Did you know the Chinese revolution was about putting and end to the _type of_ repression that we are under?
Why do you make a statement that I agree with and then rubbish me? Is something in your inner self hurting?

|Mao said that the power was at the end of the gun and did get the imperialists out of |China. So you agree that there was change in the type of repression, now!
Imperialism --> _Progressive_ Maoism/Chou En-Lai'sm (definitely not another piggism)

> to administer the whims of the chinese communist party.

Yes, but the point I was making was (and is) that the Communist party is totally accountable.
If the true Chinese human (ie, most of them, luckily that itself makes this planet mostly humans) gets pissed off they know who to overthrow unike us.

Got it?

|.... remember resignations after Tianamen square?/

> Remember protesters ....

Stop right there! Were you so daft to think that when I meant Tianament square it was in the mood of a tourist ?!

This _was_ the point of Don's original post.
Here the protestors run before the vans arrive. Try standing your ground one day and see how lonely you are.
Most probably the one who instigated the runnig was also a devious plant.
(I am not saying the Chinese do not plant spies but their spies are not devious as ours)

> Resignations? Resigned to wealth and prestige on the back of murder.

So you want the most targeted politicians in the planet to live in poverty waiting for the pig bribes ...do you?
Do you honestly understand how the PRC runs?

Let me call you a pig for that!!!

You are not only regurgitating pig swill also sound like a typical jealous pig.

Is this not exactly what I was saying before you conveniently read beteen the lines (or is it 'quoted from a comment to Don'?

I suggest you read my comments over and over until you see this
'True there are capitalist practices introduced in worrying 'free trade zones' but the everyone has somethign to learn from the labour laws of China.'

It is your selfish pig consumption and our system that is driving the 'free trade zones' (or sweat factories) either through demand and/or blatant ransom of military/economic/counter-revolutionary threats.

Did you realsie that the Chinese would not float the Yuan so they were not allowed in the WTO etc. until they recently gave up?

|%3 years of Chinese revelution has ben totally progressive and no one can deny that/

Sorry for the typo ....53 not %3

Still denied ....you pig highness lord with your head stuck up the queen?

Keep it civil

24.07.2003 09:28

Wow - this website has only just began - people should keep it civil - not personalise arguments. Its good to have debates - but take it easy and remember who the real enemy is here and now - and no scouse racism. We have a history in this city like nowhere else for resistnce.
anyway off to work

Don Harvey

scouser -- sorry if it offended you

24.07.2003 11:13

but I will keep calling my best scouser mates 'fucking scouser'.
I view the word as the same as a Geordie or similar. Never thought of a scouser as a distinct race, honest.

Anyway ..... resistance to injustice is human nature but knowledge of what is that needs resistance and how urgently important it is to resist is what is lacking and Liverpool is a good example.

Keeping it civil

24.07.2003 16:23

/Did you know how many millions of Chinese died due to the second white war? why?
Did you know the Chinese revolution was about putting and end to the _type of_ repression that we are under?/

But it didn't work. What it has achieved is the capitalisation of the chinese peasantry.

/Why do you make a statement that I agree with and then rubbish me? Is something in your inner self hurting?/

We have agreement on something, good. But you have to spoil it with your cod psychology.

/So you agree that there was change in the type of repression, now!
Imperialism --> _Progressive_ Maoism/Chou En-Lai'sm (definitely not another piggism)/

I agree one set of rulers was replaced with another set of rulers
Imperialism --> Progressive Maoism/Chou En-Lai'sm --> Capitalism.

/Yes, but the point I was making was (and is) that the Communist party is totally accountable.
If the true Chinese human (ie, most of them, luckily that itself makes this planet mostly humans) gets pissed off they know who to overthrow unike us.
Got it?/

Conveniently leaving out the capitalisation of china - will the international moneyed interests allow the chinese to rise up again. The 1927 revolution = betrayed by Stalinists. The cultural revolution = betrayed by Maoists. A future revolution = betrayed by the closet capitalists in the communist party.

/Stop right there! Were you so daft to think that when I meant Tianament square it was in the mood of a tourist ?!/

We agree on the events but you try to excuse them with a smokscreen of resignations

/So you want the most targeted politicians in the planet to live in poverty waiting for the pig bribes ...do you?
Do you honestly understand how the PRC runs?/

Agreement again. The bureaucrats of the communist party class live in luxury and wealth. You try to excuse it with another smokscreen.

/Did I say that?
Let me call you a pig for that!!!/

:)

/You are not only regurgitating pig swill also sound like a typical jealous pig./

You sound like a rabid capitalist :)

/Is this not exactly what I was saying before you conveniently read beteen the lines (or is it 'quoted from a comment to Don'?
I suggest you read my comments over and over until you see this
'True there are capitalist practices introduced in worrying 'free trade zones' but the everyone has somethign to learn from the labour laws of China.'

And the murdering bureaucrats of the chinese politbureau?

/It is your selfish pig consumption and our system that is driving the 'free trade zones' (or sweat factories) either through demand and/or blatant ransom of military/economic/counter-revolutionary threats.
Did you realsie that the Chinese would not float the Yuan so they were not allowed in the WTO etc. until they recently gave up?/

The closet capitalists of the chinese politbureau being taught the rules of international capitalism. As you are a fictional character you do not consume or maybe you consume too much :)

/fear is the greatest enemy, grasshopper./

those who make half a revolution only dig their own graves, ram.
