In an Orwellian world all human beings would carry a personal transponder and Gorgun Shield that would protect them from unwanted EM Radiation. Yes! - this is possible!!! but sadly it will not happen.

I previously suggested that you make your scientific findings and your prototype Shield known to the World Health Organization and now I further recommend that you publish your work within this organization - the 'Citizens Omega Initiative' - thereby gaining the
attention that cannot be denied. You might also consider corresponding to the Microwave News.

If the W.H.O. can be obliged to recognize and support the Precautionary Principle as recommended by the California State EMR report I do believe we will see gigantic progress in alerting citizens of the world to the dangers inherent in man-made EM radiation.

Village in new mast crusade

VILLAGERS in Notton are up in arms about proposals to extend a phone mast on a farm site where there are already four.

Mobile phone firm O2 has applied to extend the 17.4m high mast to serve mobile phones and provide coverage for West and South Yorkshire police forces.

Nearly 40 households from Notton and nearby Woolley have put their names to letters objecting to the mast, earmarked for the site at Highfield Farm on Woolley Lane - known locally as The Mast Farm.

Independent Wakefield councillor Brian Hazell, from Shay Lane in Walton, raised his concerns. He said: "There is an argument about health risks when it comes to these masts and the jury is still out. "It seems to me it is all about the profit, and it doesn't matter who suffers. It's about making money for the big companies and trampling on the little people. "Everyone asked said they would do without their mobiles if the masts were taken away."

Objectors are expected to descend on County Hall for the planning meeting today.

John Kidson, owner of Highfield Farm, declined to comment about the money he would be given for leasing the land to O2 for the mast. He said: "I just let the land to them, the mast is nothing to do with me."

The regional communications manager for O2 was not available for comment as the Wakefield Express went to print.

The planning and highways committee meeting will take place today at 10am.

Villagers are worried about health problems from the mast

A Leicestershire village has been warned its three year fight to move a mobile phone mast is not over. People in Countesthorpe have been campaigning to shift the antennae, which they say is a health threat, for three years.

The dispute centres on a mast which T-Mobile installed 11 metres closer to homes than planning permission allowed.

Blaby District Council has now told villagers that regulations mean they cannot even start the process of moving it until September.

Enforcement action

More than 1,000 people have signed a petition opposing the mast. At a meeting, residents hoped they would hear that removal was now a possible option, but were instead given the news that 60 days must pass while a statutory consultation exercise goes on.

Countesthorpe resident John Martin said they wanted more support from the council. He said: "We'd obviously like the council to formally endorse the removal of the mast to a much more appropriate position."

A progress report will be given at the next meeting, which may then lead to the possibility of enforcement action.

When I wrote that there is only one cellular masts study I did not mention that there is a study on cows from Germany- they gave less milk production, had malformations and behaved as in chronic stress. (Mainz news August 2000)

And a report from Australia about symptoms in distance of 200 from cellular masts. (Mobile phones and their transmitter bases stations. The evidence for health hazards. A local Government and Community

Prof Santini found symptoms up to 300 m from the masts. Then there is the radio sickness that the russian found.

This is more accurate now so I feel much better.

I "talk" specifically about the cell phone masts. The claim was that 1600 studies about cell masts proved no danger, but for the help of the people from Portugal there are also the TV and Radio transmitters studies.

If one wants to be really accurate, in the book of Dr. Georg Carlo, the 1600 studies were specifically checked about their relevance to the cell phones and not cell masts, also worth noting that when the industry said that there are thousands of studies which prove that the phones are safe, the media asked them to show these studies. None was given to the media because none existed.

I wish the media in our country would ask one time, just one time, the "experts" who say that there are about 30,000 studies (yes, once it was just "thousands" but it grows with the growth of the threat on the industry I guess), to bring them these 30,000, but our media prefers not to ask - just to write that there are no proofs for cancer.

The stock market people /industry/ government/ media etc.. must be thinking that their genes are protected. Only our genes are in danger- their genes- will be JUST FINE. The illusion that their genes are protected from the dangers of the radiation is how much the money blinds them....

Australia has its first centralised Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR) Health Complaints Register from today. The CEO of ARPANSA, Dr John Loy, said in Sydney: "Members of the public who believe they have suffered ill-effects as a result of exposure to EMR can now lodge a written complaint with a national database administered by ARPANSA. The agency cannot investigate or attempt to resolve individual complaints, but a standard reporting form allows people to describe the nature of their exposure and any adverse health effects they claim to have experienced. ARPANSA will protect the privacy of complainants."

"The Health Complaints Register will collect reports of health concerns related to possible EMR field exposures in the range of 0-300 GHz. Therefore, it is important to note that the register will not be limited to telecommunications equipment like mobile phones and broadcasting transmitters but will also include sources such as powerlines, induction heaters, microwave ovens and other personal, industrial and scientific EMR producing equipment."

John Loy added: "In designing the Health Complaints Register ARPANSA consulted with other government departments, industry, and community organisations. Relevant data gathered will be used to produce statistical summaries for the public, and the Commonwealth Government, on the nature and level of complaints received. Information could be used by ARPANSA to help identify future areas of research into the effects of electromagnetic fields on people and the environment. Register information may also be disclosed to the National Health and Medical Research Council for its consideration."

The Health Complaints Register honours an undertaking made by the Commonwealth Government in response to recommendations of the Senate Environment, Communications, Information Technology and the Arts References Committee inquiry into EMR in late 2000. The Committee report was tabled in May 2001. Government Senators considered (p.180): "that the development of a database of reports of adverse health effects from mobile phones and other sources of radiofrequency radiation would assist researchers in formulating research hypotheses, and contribute to public confidence in measures being adopted to minimise health risks associated with EMR."

To avoid restricting and distorting responses the standard reporting form asks people to record six things:
- personal details;
- whether they are willing to be contacted by the NHMRC and/or ARPANSA if necessary;
- symptoms which they believe result from their EMR exposure;
- whether they have seen a medical or health practitioner about their complaint;
- the EMR exposure source;
- and acknowledgment that they understand the purpose for which the information has been collected, and the conditions that surround its collection, retention and use.
