I don't want to start another flame war (!) but I must repeat that I have yet to see any actual evidence of the SWP or the Socialist Alliance 'dropping' gay rights. In fact I've seen them on Pride marches with (really pretty fierce) pro-equality and anti-homophobia placards in the past few days.

Likewise the alleged 'Peace + Justice Party' has yet to put in an appearance...

Whenever there is a real article posted why is its impact lessened by endless comments accusing the poster of being Homophobic, antiislamic or Fascist or a member of the SWP, BNP or a Trot or whatever?

Surely you can see the difference between being slightly un-PC (as perhaps the anal-sex reference above is, although I fail to see why a refernce to anal sex is homophobic) and being totally wrong, evil and dangerous (as Bush, Blair et al. are). Why not put your energy into attacking the real problems and not those people who are basically on the same side as you but who you perhaps don't totally agree with.
