The Campaign to Impeach George W. Bush

brent | 26.09.2003 00:08 | Anti-militarism | Repression | World

"Corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow ... until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the republic is destroyed." Abraham Lincoln

A great moral outrage is taking place. An undemocratically installed so called government in Iraq is preparing to auction off the entire country, including its oil wells, and is also ever so generously planning to liberalize capital to allow the export of all profits out of that ruined and devestated country.
 http://portland.indymedia.org/en/2003/09/272425.shtml

Right now Iraq has socialism, but the Iraqi people are not being allowed to vote, because they would probably vote the wrong way, and so that fraud called the government of Iraq is going to do what has to be done.

I feel like lashing out...but it probably wouldn't be wise. You see I have a terrible nasty temper, and when it boils up I find myself wanting to lash out at everyone and everything in sight. Right now I am so ANGRY and so OUTRAGED that I can feel a tingling throughout my entire body and the back of my knees are weak. I feel like lining everyone up against the wall, but I would probably just wind up regreting it later, and then again it probably wouldn't accomplish what ever I feel I need to accomplish.

So let me bite my caustic tongue and just, for example, ask the following question.

Consider a minister at a church. Now is there anything that makes a minister FLAMING MAD? Or do ministers just mildly disapprove. Just wondering. You know when a rotten bully is robbing and crushing the helpless, and swaggering arrogantly hither and thither. Does it make anyone mad. How about the liberal leftist types. Do they get mad, or do they just acknowledge, intellectually, that this is wrong, and then mildly disapprove?

Just wondering.

You know, I have seen footage of that previous Vietnam War, you know when the Vietnamese were going to have democracy, and vote for Ho Chi Mihn, and so the American Military Industrial Complex invaded their country. That business of tolerating having people voting the wrong way is a mistake they are obviously not going to be making in Iraq. You know they may have invaded Iraq to 'free the Iraqi people from a brutal tyrant' but that doesn't mean they are going to be freeing the Iraqi people, at least, not just yet. Not until that unelected so called 'government' of Iraq auctions off the oil wells, and liberalizes the outflow of profits and capital. Once they put paid to that bit of American despotism, then the Iraqis can vote, just like Americans vote, and they can get about as much for their voting as an American can expect from their voting, which isn't a hell of a lot, as I am sure any American would know if they would just stop to ponder the point for a moment.

You know, in the new age of the tyranny of liberalized international capital, you still need politicians, both for show, and also so that politicians can get bogged down in controversy over such things as 'gay marriage' and so on, leaving the really big decisions to be made by international capital. The Iraqis will eventually get their 'democracy' and they can then legislate on such important matters as the veil for women or whatever else doesn't concern money, becoming just like politicians in the rest of the world, who, even if a lot of the people reading this don't yet understand, well, those politicians understand what I mean. There is no democracy, and if you would like to prove the point, you might try having some and just watch how quickly your nation is crushed and destroyed by the forces of liberalized international capital.

Or, since no politician would be stupid enough not to do what they are told by the tycoons who actually run the world right now, well maybe we can all learn about 'democracy' by studying this filthy and disgraceful 'Iraqi freedom war' and we can also watch the undemocratic pillage and plunder and we can learn the lessons which must be learned that way.

Hey, let me ask you a question. Let's suppose they came and they started robbing you blind, and they bullied you, and tyrannized you ... question ... would you expect a Vietnam type uprising, or would you expect them to be mildly annoyed, perhaps do some complaining, but not much else. You know you keep getting told that the White House is 'fighting Al Queda' but actually, as even their own General is hinting, they are fighting another indigenous uprising, similar to those uprisings the British fought in the first half of the last century, you know, until they got so bankrupt from the second world war, they couldn't afford to keep crushing the people in their imperial colonies.

Now one of their imperial colonies where they fought a long and protracted bloody insurrection was Iraq. The reason why the British were so interested in a country so far away was the same as today. You know if they raised goats for export in Iraq, and were ruled over by a vicious tyrant, like so many countries in the world are right now, there is no way that the White House would be coughing up hundreds of billions of dollars to save them, because you see Iraq has trillions of dollars worth of the world's best oil (super cheap to pump out of the ground and super cheap to refine), so those hundreds of billions are what's called an investment, and tycoons are not particularly interested in taking over the entire goat trade. Those people exporting goats will remain under the thumb of a vicious tyrant for that very reason. Similarly, the White House isn't much interested in invading countries that are bases of terrorism, or they would be invading Pakistan, rather than being chummy with them, since that it is the main base for all the world's terrorists right now, and then of course there is that whole business with Saudi Arabia, which might get invaded someday, since they have oil.

The American's won't be doing much conquering of the world in the "New American Century' right at this moment, however. Right now the Americans have more than they can handle trying to pump out Iraq's oil in the midst of an insurrection that is going to become the next Vietnam, and which is going to get worse and worse, in particular after it sinks in that this is more of that imperialism, like the Brits used to do, and when the Iraqis realize that the capital laws are about to 'liberalized' to bring them in line with the rest of the world, thus allowing the profits from their sold off industries and oil wells to flow out of the country and into the pockets of tycoons.

Now there is one good thing that you can say about the Bush White House - they are nakedly crude and vulgar those people. Look, they want that oil real bad, and thus they are willing to prop up some phony government with a stick and privatize the whole shot. They will lie to the American people, tell them a pile of shit about how they are 'fighting terror' and 'winning the battle against Al Queda' while they brutally crush a rising Vietnam style insurrection against their naked greedy imperialistic ambitions and gluttony for that super profitable Iraqi oil. I can understand their impatience, since you know, just being bogged down in a growing Vietnam guerilla war in Iraq, which will only get worse and worse, without getting a pay off in oil, well it hardly seems worth it, because let's face facts, those tycoons are not in Iraq because they love democracy, and if they wanted to hunt al Queda they would be in Pakistan or Saudi Arabia, not Iraq.

And what could be worse than to spend hundreds of billions and then not get the big pay off? Sooner or later they must do what they must do, and 'privatize' Iraq's oil, and give it to big tycoons, and this WAR CRIME must be done undemocratically, like they are in the process of doing it now, since no Iraqi would vote for something that idiotic, especially when you consider the estimated price tag of one trillion dollars to fix that wrecked place. Tycoons don't even pay for the wrecked and crumbling infrastructure of America, and they sure as to hell won't be 'reconstructing Iraq', every filthy thing you hear about this WAR CRIME being nothing but a lie, not to mention being a violation of the Nuremburg laws, which were supposed to be in place to stop wars of aggression like this one.

Which makes me wonder what the hell is wrong with Americans. You know, this is an impeachable offense. Under the American constitution, the Nuremburg WAR CRIMES law are the law of the land. Now if it is to be argued that the invasion of Iraq does not qualify as a war crime under the Nuremburg laws, then it must be the case that there would be no way that Americans are going to deny Iraqis the right to democracy, which means that there is no way in hell that tycoons are going to fulfill their dreams of avarice by getting their claws on that Iraqi oil. Touch the oil. WAR CRIME. And that is an impeachable offense. Well, it is, if justice is functioning in America. Certainly democracy is not, and it remains to be seen if justice is still functioning.

Speaking of impeachable offenses, I have a question. You know the morning of 911. Just which moron was it that came up with that bit about claiming not to know anything about 911 and then releasing the hijackers names. Doesn't make sense. And how about that bit about the 'passport of the muslim terrorist' that, in what could only have been a divine intervention, was found sitting on top of the rubble, unburned. Who was the moron who had that passport made up and then dropped it onto that pile. By the way, how long does it take to go somewhere, get a passport made up, and then come back through traffic choas or whatever and then drop that passport onto the ruins of the WTC? Just wondering, because common sense would seem to indicate that someone was thinking ahead and had that passport made up ahead of time, and that someone was conveniently on the scene to drop that passport onto the rubble. Either that, or someone who saw a golden opportunity, kicked into high gear and went and got that passport made real quick. Now the reason why I am asking, is that, you see, that would be a criminal act. You do realize that the shabby misdeeds that were taking place on the morning of 911 were the grossest form of misconduct and criminal activity, do you not. I mean here you have people deliberately manufacturing and planting evidence for what should have been one of the most important criminal investigations in American history. Which reminds me - why is there no investigation of 911 to speak of, and why does that just not seem to bother people? And another question - how come no one else is asking these questions, or finding these things to be, ummmm, oddly disturbing.

I mean you have read the Project for a New American Century, haven't you, you know, that bit about invading Iraq, Afghanistan, stationing troops in the Caucausus, as well as that bit about how this 'revolutionary' right wing agenda would not be possible without 'a new Pearl Harbor.' Now, as you know, they were blunt in that PNAC document. They were talking about all the stuff they were planning to do, which they did, and are in the process of doing right now, and then they dropped a hint, which paraphrased, was as follows - "Umm, by the way, if we ever see the opportunity to get attacked by terrorists, which is quite likely, then we should let them do it, because all this marvelous stuff we have planned here will be impossible unless we can have another Pearl Harbor." if you paraphrase that is pretty much what you are left with...

Why was it that all the rules in the book were tossed and no planes were mobilized for interception on the morning of 911? And who dropped off those copies of the Koran and those ridiculous notes which were widely debunked by Arabic speakers and muslims? Why did John Ashcroft stop taking commercial aircraft before 911 after recieving the FBI report that indicated that hijackings were imminent? And why was everyone on high alert at the G-8 summit before 911, with all the airports closed and anti-aircraft guns out waiting to shoot down any passenger jet that dared approach, you know, since Bin Laden was supposed to be planning to use a civilian air craft as a flying bomb. Bush's August briefing was titled 'Bin Laden determined to strike United States' and we know that FBI intelligence indicated that hijackings were imminent and we know that the international intelligence community knew beforehand that Bin Laden had the idea of using a commerical jet as a flying bomb, and thus the caution at Genoa. Why, given all this, were not the minimum precautions taken, and security tightened at airports, given how, God forbid, the country could easily wind up getting nailed by 'a new Pearl Harbor', in particular when a country rolls over and exposes its soft underbelly.

Another really weird question. Why are the worst road blocks to be found in investigating 911 to be found among the leading lights of the liberals and the left? Why are these people found to be the leading debunkers of every attempt to raise these legitmate questions, and why do they falsely suggest that there is nothing to question?

Now that's a real puzzler.

But getting back to impeachable offenses, is not road blocking the 911 investigation, as we know the Bush administration has been doing every single step of the way, an impeachable offense? Its called obstruction of justice and it brought down the Nixon White House. But I guess those were different times, or something. You know, you would think things would be similar, what with the Americans in Vietnam again.

But to get back to impeachable offenses, there is also that whole bit about the NUREMBURG WAR CRIMES laws, which are the law of the land in the United States, in case you didn't know. Now we know that the Bush administration is loaded with the authors of PNAC, and we know that they were planning to invade Iraq, and do all that other stuff they did, well, after Pearl Harbor they were planning to do all that stuff, according to what they said. And we know they didn't do much to stop Pearl Harbor, not even the minimum, well except for protecting Bush at Genoa and keeping Ashcroft off the planes so he could live long enough to push through new laws allowing secret arrests and other laws which are carbon copies of the laws that Hitler pushed through after the communists terrorists attacked Germany. (Study history, and then perhaps be afraid, be very afraid. These aren't nice people after all. They have big plans for gutting social security and medicare, you know, as Bush said after 911, they have post Pearl Harbor plans to 'hit the trifecta' and as that Nobel laureate said it, 'and people depend on those programs.' These are not nice people, but then maybe ask the tyrannized Iraqis, or perhaps ask that undemocratic so called government of theirs for an opinion on the matter.)

A question - will the American people be voting next November (not that it matters, but just to go through the motions)? These are not nice people...

I feel sick to my stomach...enough

this is an older page, and really, it should be updated to include the impeachable offense of the violating the Nuremburg War Crimes law...the whole PNAC by the way, is a manifesto for violating the Nuremburg War Crimes Law...just thought I would point that out to you

The coming great depression

A form of looting
A short-term tax benefit for the poor would actually be a reasonable stimulus. Then, the money would almost certainly be spent ... this deficit continues far into the future, as the bulk of the tax cuts can be expected to continue indefinitely. The Administration is giving us red ink as far as the eye can see, and these permanent aspects outweigh the short-term stimulatory effects ... The rich don't need the money and are a lot less likely to spend it - they will primarily increase their savings. Remember that wealthier families have done extremely well in the US in the past twenty years, whereas poorer ones have done quite badly. So the redistributive effects of this administration's tax policy are going in the exactly wrong direction ... with the current tax cuts, a realistic estimate would be a deficit in excess of six trillion ... The government is not really telling the truth to the American people. Past administrations from the time of Alexander Hamilton have on the average run responsible budgetary policies. What we have here is a form of looting ... We can be like a very poor country with problems of threatening bankruptcy. Or we're going to have to cut back seriously on Medicare and Social Security. So the money that is going overwhelmingly to the wealthy is going to be paid by cutting services for the elderly. And people depend on those ... Bush's father committed a great act of courage by actually raising taxes. He wasn't always courageous, but this was his best public service. It was the first step to getting the deficit under control during the Clinton years ... I think this is the worst government the US has ever had in its more than 200 years of history. It has engaged in extraordinarily irresponsible policies not only in foreign and economic but also in social and environmental policy. This is not normal government policy. Now is the time for people to engage in civil disobedience.
George A. Akerlof, co-winner of the 2001 Nobel Prize in economics

The words of the White Rose (anarchist protestors who were murdered by the Nazis)

Nothing is so unworthy of a civilized nation as allowing itself to be governed without opposition by an irresponsible clique that has yielded to base instinct. It is certain that today every honest German is ashamed of his government. Who among us has any conception of the dimensions of shame that will befall us and our children when one day the veil has fallen from our eyes and the most horrible of crimes - crimes that infinitely outdistance every human measure - reach the light of day? If the German people are already so corrupted and spiritually crushed that they do not raise a hand, frivolously trusting in a questionable faith in lawful order of history; if they surrender man’s highest principle, that which raises him above all other God’s creatures, his free will; if they abandon the will to take decisive action and turn the wheel of history and thus subject it to their own rational decision; if they are so devoid of all individuality, have already gone so far along the road toward turning into a spiritless and cowardly mass - then, yes, they deserve their downfall. Goethe speaks of the Germans as a tragic people, like the Jews and the Greeks, but today it would appear rather that they are a spineless, will-less herd of hangers-on, who now - the marrow sucked out of their bones, robbed of their center of stability - are waiting to be hounded to their destruction. So it seems - but it is not so. Rather, by means of gradual, treacherous, systematic abuse, the system has put every man into a spiritual prison. Only now, finding himself lying in fetters, has he become aware of his fate. Only a few recognized the threat of ruin, and the reward for their heroic warning was death. We will have more to say about the fate of these persons. If everyone waits until the other man makes a start, the messengers of avenging Nemesis will come steadily closer; then even the last victim will have been cast senselessly into the maw of the insatiable demon.

Though he who has boldly risen from the abyss Through an iron will and cunning May conquer half the world, Yet to the abyss he must return. Already a terrible fear has seized him; In vain he will resist! And all who still stand with him Must perish in his fall.

Hitler states in an early edition of "his" book (a book written in the worst German I have ever read, in spite of the fact that it has been elevated to the position of the Bible in this nation of poets and thinkers): "It is unbelievable, to what extent one must betray a people in order to rule it." If at the start this cancerous growth in the nation was not particularly noticeable, it was only because there were still enough forces at work that operated for the good, so that it was kept under control. As it grew larger, however, and finally in an ultimate spurt of growth attained ruling power, the tumor broke open, as it were, and infected the whole body. The greater part of its former opponents went into hiding. The German intellectuals fled to their cellars, there, like plants struggling in the dark, away from light and sun, gradually to choke to death. Now the end is at hand. Now it is our task to find one another again, to spread information from person to person, to keep a steady purpose, and to allow ourselves no rest until the last man is persuaded of the urgent need of his struggle against this system.

But our present "state" is the dictatorship of evil. "Oh, we've known that for a long time," I hear you object, "and it isn't necessary to bring that to our attention again." But, I ask you, if you know that, why do you not bestir yourselves, why do you allow these men who are in power to rob you step by step, openly and in secret, of one domain of your rights after another, until one day nothing, nothing at all will be left but a mechanized state system presided over by criminals and drunks? Is your spirit already so crushed by abuse that you forget it is your right - or rather, your moral duty - to eliminate this system?

Aristotle, Politics: "... and further, it is part [of the nature of tyranny] to strive to see to it that nothing is kept hidden of that which any subject says or does, but that everywhere he will be spied upon."

So I returned, and considered all the oppressions that are done under the sun: and behold the tears of such as were oppressed, and they had no comforter; and on the side of their oppressors there was power; but they had no comforter. Wherefore I praised the dead which are already dead than the living which are yet alive. Ecclesiastes 4

But what are the German people doing? They will not see and will not listen. Blindly they follow their seducers into ruin. Victory at any price! is inscribed on their banner.

Do not believe the National Socialist propoganda which has driven the fear of Bolshevism into your bones. Do not believe that Germany's welfare is linked to the victory of national Socialism for good or ill.

The imperialist ideology of force, from whatever side it comes, must be shattered for all time.

"Philosophical training" is the name given to the despicable method by which our budding intellectual development is muffled in a fog of empty phrases. A system of selection of leaders at once unimaginably devilish and narrow-minded trains up its future party bigwigs in the "Castles of the Knightly Order" to become Godless, impudent, and conscienceless exploiters and executioners - blind, stupid hangers-on of the Fuhrer. We "Intellectual Workers" are the ones who should put obstacles in the path of this caste of overlords. Soldiers at the front are regimented like schoolboys by student leaders and trainees for the post of Gauleiter.

The workers must be liberated from their condition of down trodden slavery under National Socialism. The illusory structure of autonomous national industry must disappear. Every nation and each man have a right to the goods of the whole world!

Freedom of speech, freedom of religion, the protection of individual citizens from the abritrary will of criminal regimes of violence-these will be the bases of the New Europe.

True anarchy is the generative element of religion. Out of the annihilation of every positive element she lifts her gloriously radiant countenance as the founder of a new world... If Europe were about to awaken again, if a state of states, a teaching of political science were at hand! Should hierarchy then... be the principle of the union of states? Blood will stream over Europe until the nations become aware of the frightful madness which drives them in circles. And then, struck by celestial music and made gentle, the approach their former altars all together, hear about the works of peace, and hold a great celebration of peace with fervent tears before the smoking altars.

Support the resistance. Distribute the leaflets!
