Were the hell is this guy coming from? One minute he’s banging the working class drum the next minute he’s on the Parkinson show with some Tory journalist. I tell you we are living in a crazy world. How can these guys be socialists if thy are millionaires? He also stood as a local election candidate for the National Front. You know what they say about racists? Once a racist always a racist. It’s about time the left woke up to guys like this. But the left have always been asleep to local and national issues.

Just in case you hadn't noticed, i'll tell you something obvious: this country has been stolen by international corporations and is now run by their pupets. We arn't talking millionare actors and authors here, people who may well have had an upbringing fairly like your own, we are talking about a ruing elite, some new, some old.
Class doesn't come into it, a computer programmer can suffer as indebted wage slave just as much as a binman as a teacher as a banker as a trolley boy, we are all 'workers'.
To quote a friend on socialism 'who wants to be a f***ing worker?'. Global justice is one thing, social apartied is another thing entirely.

Frederick Engels (middle-class factory owner)
Tony Benn (scion of the British aristocracy)
Enrico Malatesta (Son of Italian landowners)
Michael Bakunin (minor Russian aristo)
Peter Kropotkin (major Russian aristo and prince)
Pierre-Joseph Proudhon (middle-class rural Frenchman)
etc etc
The point is not where these people were from, its where they were at.
