Boys in blue and the BNP

There is more than a whiff of hypocrisy about the revelation at the weekend that there are a number of serving Police officers in the West Midlands Constabulary who are members of the BNP. Quite how the press arrived at the number of twelve remains a mystery, but we can confirm the message given to the Press from Simon Darby, the BNP West Midlands Regional Organiser, that we do indeed have members who are currently serving officers in the Force.

Indeed we can further state that we have an appreciable number of members who are serving with other Forces throughout England and Scotland. This should not come as a shock; Policemen and women have the same concerns about the future of the country as those in other walks of life. As we have already reported, officers see some of the most appalling results of violence, drug abuse and sex crimes that plague Britain today. Any officer with a brain can see that the types of crime as well as the numbers of crimes have underlying political and social causes. Today's crime wave has its causes in the mismanagement of the economy, a liberal approach to law and order and decades of uncontrolled immigration which has managed to turn once safe all-white neighbourhoods to multi-culti warzones where different ethnic groups battle it all for control of drugs, prostitution and protection rackets. That is the reality for many officers in places such as Birmingham, London, Nottingham, Glasgow and Leeds who daily deal with the sickening consequences.

The blatant hypocrisy in this media "expose" comes from the words of Kirk Dawes, who said he was concerned that BNP members were serving among their ranks.

"There is a big difference between patriotism and racism on the far right," he said. "The police have to serve everyone and we need to be able to provide a fair, equitable service to one and all."

Kirk Dawes happens to be chairman of West Midlands Police Black Police Association. This Association excludes people of Asian and European origin and is therefore a discriminatory, racist association. Can those Birmingham residents of Chinese, Irish and British origin expect to be dealt with fairly and equally by a West Midlands officer who is a member of this Association?

One can imagine the chorus of disapproval and concern that would accompany the creation of a White Police Officers Association.

If a member of the BNP who serves and protects the local, community by being a uniformed Police officer is expected to behave in a discriminatory racist way, then by simple logic a member of the Black Police Association would be expected to behave in a discriminatory and racist way. If however the truth of the matter is that both officers will perform their tasks as professional officers to the very best of their abilities then there should be no concern from any member of the communities that the Police Force serves, and that really should be the end of the story. White British officers should be allowed to join and support any political party which they see as having the common sense policies to benefit their children's futures. Black and Asian officers should be allowed to meet and socialise with those of their background with whom they feel most comfortable.

To suggest that BNP members in the Police Force would not deal professionally with ethnic minorities is as ludicrous as saying that our members in the Fire Brigades would be biased against rescuing a member of an ethnic minority from a blazing building or that our members who are doctors and nurses would not apply the same care and professionalism in dealing with Black patients as they would White patients. Such an insinuation is false and thoroughly insulting.

That is the trouble with these politically correct fascists, like Kirk Dawes and the white liberals who support his views. Their logic is flawed and all they do is reveal the underlying basis for political correctness. It has nothing to do with being equal and fair but everything to do with dismantling existing and creating new power structures which help to benefit minorities at a cost to the majority.
