Naturally, slaughtering children, although not without its shortcomings, did seem an effective way of reducing the disorientation felt by the child once it has been removed from its family. However, I understand that in the past 2000 years, things have changed and that the practice of removing children is an act of, well, Philistinism. I trust you will agree that his comparisons are unjustified,
