in reply to that if i was to post all 104 images there would have been a outcry. image is not fucking commercial. it has images of sheffield. from a sheffield person. unlike this news wire see  http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/regions/sheffield/2004/02/286085.html was this locall news? never mid countless images from there posted by steve aka atw on the newswire that is for locall news ie sheffield.. there aint no conspiracey sisiters brothers comrades this news wire is not here to repersent the views of our class the working class but the middle class. why eles would the guidlines be so fucking crass? if you are not part of the inner circle etc then you are not welcome. well let me say againe i was born here in sheffield it is people like atw who are the outsiders. there will be mass civall unrest in the next few years and when it happens the working class shall be seeking some justice..

it indeed true that this message was held in the moderation queue. in

for this, there is more than one person whose posts are moderated [i

you know all three individuals and i think [and believe you think too]
that
they are all intelligent enough to discuss and make decisions on posts
on
the basis of content not author. if you think the admin "regime" is
wrong,
say so. perhaps we should have more, perhaps we should rotate the role.
these things are all up for discussion.

you are of course free to feel what you like, but if the bullshit was

ok, so to the crux of the matter. it is *not* true that you are
moderated
because you are suspected af being a grass. this is an assumption you
have
made. when we made the decision in october 2003 it was because of a
number
of factors. these included posts made by you to the sheffield social
forum
list naming persons where the fash could read. i also believe i
remember
inappropriate info being posted on the imc-newswire.

at the imc-network meeting quite a few of us took time out to talk to
you
about how you felt about being on redwatch. your behaviour during that
period made people feel nervous, insecure and paranoid [just like you].
this
is not because anyone thought you were a grass, but because your own
nervousness, insecurity and paranoia were getting in the way of you
making
good decisions about what was appropriate and what was not.

i wouldn't put it like this. i would say if you've breached the
editorial
guideline for the newswire [which you have] and have also posted
inappropriate information to open-archive political lists [which you
have],
i think it right for the admins to have a look at what you're posting.
we
may save you from posting something you may regret. consider: you have
been
moderated for five months, how may posts by you have been knocked back
in
that time?

perhaps it is time to reconsider moderating your posts, i think it
might be.
but conjouring conspiracies based on whether or not you're a grass is
not
helpful and inventing imagined personal vendattas isn't either.

you made some bad choices last october about what information to
publish
where, those led to your posts being moderated. you admitted at the
time
that perhaps it would take time to rebuild trust --- that was the
truth, it
has taken time. whether the time has finished is a conversation that i
hope
we will both be part of.
