Birmingham Indymedia presents the first of a series of Indymedia Cinema screenings and discussion across the city before its launch.

The first screening starts with a showing of Unprecedented: the 2000 Presidential Election (www.unprecedented.org) with some shorts from the European NewsReal 12 (

http://newsreal.indymedia.de/), a trailer for 'Indefensible - DSEi 2003' and a short version of Eye of the Storms 'Indymedia Argentina'.

The screening starts at 8:30 pm at the Midlands Arts Centre, Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham.

There will be a discussion after the screening hosted by Bristol and Birmingham Indymedia.

The next Birmingham Indymedia screening is 15th April at the Unit, Dennis Road, Balsall Heath, Birmingham.
