The Russian Economic Forum is an annual event which claims to explore “critical issues related to Russia’s continuing political, economic and social development”.

According to their website “Participation in the Russian Economic Forum is an absolute must for any Western CEO, fund manager, investment banker or journalist with more than a passing interest in Russia, and any Russian industrialist, entrepreneur or banker with serious international interests or aspirations.”

What this means is that senior representatives of the some of the most destructive industries, including oil companies, mining companies, and banks will be in the same place at the same time, and we’ll be there too!

Registration for the conference takes place on the evening of the 18th, with the conference itself on the 19th and 20th.
