TUC Colours

Pissed of with the english petit- b | 15.09.2004 17:57

TUC show its colours with backing of the ridiculous 2012 Olympic bid. Will they be going to Beijing as well? It just shows they have nothing to do with ethics or the working class and are fat overpaid fuckwits.

Debate start here?

More jobs ? What jobs? Check Sydney. Check Athens. Check Seoul. You are talkking out of your arses.
More deaths on building sites?
More arrests?
More bulldozing down working class estates?
More support of Killer Cola and sweatshop Nike?
More locking up the homeless?
More animal abuse?
More corporate hospitality while the REAL issues go on?
More nation state fascism ( that should appeal to the fucking Nazi-like Leninists, Satalinists and Trots of the TUC with their historical contempt of the planet and peoples lives with their stupid ideas. Yes National Socialism and the ideas of the late Dr Marx are so very similar.

England you kill me....

TUC - You are selfish greedy and power mad opportunistic twats in your plush fucking Metropolitan offices and yuppie pads.

No don't worry they'll do it in a nice way.

This is LondON, home of the mayor KEN and the GLA, and their armies of activists - they'd never let such things happen here. They're bringing the anti-capitalist extravaganza European Social Forum, they're right ON!

Oh, no sorry, hang on... didn't the ESF seminar that the Greek delegation proposed on the aftermath and resistance to the olympic games get shelved? Yeah that's right, apparently no one outside of greece is interested in it. Of course, completely different situation here in london... yeah, wouldn't want people making links on this issue now would we. Might be a bit embarrasing.

Guess the greeks will have to wait til they host the ESF next year to tell us all about it, unless they want to run the seminar in an autonomous space that is. Hmmmm...

2012 ;-)

more misinformation

16.09.2004 07:36

More misinformation. Ever thought whose interest this misinformation serves? Bush and Blair.

There are more than 900 proposals for seminars and workshops - some merging was necessary. The proposed seminar - 739 - from the Greek Social Forum is listed on the ESF website www.fse-esf.org

Seminar D21-23
Civil Liberties, Anti-Terrorism, Security, Political Prisoners, Death Penalty, Criminalization, Repression – 3 seminars
a. Prisoners 310, 459, 1099 (W)
b. 683, 1096
c. 632, 1053, 1129, 1246, 1279, 1306, 739, 1619

and they eat babies too

Wow, so the Trades Union Congress are Nazis, Leninists, Satanilists (!?) Trots and power-hungry twats as well? You wouldn't be from the CBI press office would you?

;-)

That's true the Greek one is there - however...

Quite right above comment. Just that instead of being one seminar, it's merged with seven others, so it's not really an effective platform to tackle the big issue of the olympics is it.

So the greeks have just had the olympics, and it may come to london and the ESF is going to greece next year. Seems like a pretty good justification for a seminar dedicated to the olympics in london to me.

Anyway, where did you get this information about the mergers from? It's not on the ESF website and I'm sure a lot of people would like to see it. Is it public? Has it been sent to an email list? Where can we see this information?

The original comment was a bit sarcastic wasn't it, though elements of truth as well.

process?

Resist Bush and / or / certainly not Blair

"Ever thought whose interest this misinformation serves? Bush and Blair."

Ever thought whose interests calling the ESF demonstration as a protest against only BUSH serves?

Hmmmm....

hmmm

To see the information on the merging of seminars all you need to do is go to www.fse-esf.org and click on programme. Not to hard really.
