15:30 The police have now left Kings Cross station. They arrested four people, including two italian and one greek activists. The others are now walking to join the march, escorted by the police.


15:00 A second arrest has happened at Kings Cross. Police are keeping people away, parking vans to block the line of sight, trying to make sure their actions can't be seen. Keeping a big distance between the trapped protesters and the outside, but bottled water is being thrown in.


14:40 There are now ten police vans at kings cross. Reports say there are between 20 and 70 people within the police cordon. There have been several reports of heavy handed policing and pushing. One person has been arrested.


14:00 Twenty people are penned in by police outside Kings Cross station. This is the same group that were held at Seven Sisters earlier.


13:30There are reports that some activists are being prevented from travelling to the demonstration and are stopped at Seven Sisters station.

There have been four arrests, including two disobbedienti, one greek activist, the greek activist. The group calls for demonstrations outside British Consulates and Embassies all over Europe Tommorrow.

There is already a demo in front of the British Consulate in Thessaloniki and in several Italian Cities protesting against the arrests and the police brutality/

As an ESF related event, the march will have come under 'special scrutiny' by police chiefs. Police in other countries have attacked ESF marchers violently, (particularly so at Genoa), because The Capitalist State feels a need to issue a warning that they are very much in control. In London we seem to have got off likely. Clearly a decicion was made at top level not to interfere too much with the march. However the lessons and warning about who is in charge still have to be expressed, even if it means deploying hundreds of police to 'contain' 20 peaceful demonstrators. We get the message (?) Do we?
