MERSEYSIDE COALITION AGAINST RACISM & FASCISM would like to congratulate everybody who took part in the leafleting sessions that took place in Ellesmere Port to stop the BNP gaining a seat on the Council.

We delivered editions of Searchlight and a special leaflet to every house during the build up to the election. This shows what can be done when everybody unites to keep out the BNP who are explicitly targeting Merseyside as one of their development areas.
There is no room for complacency. The anti-racist majority on Merseyside will remain vigilant to prevent the BNP getting even a toe hold here.
