Hi. This may count as advertising but seeing as we are unpaid and operate ERODING EMPIRE non-profit and in a totally D.I.Y. fashion, we'd like to get a little plug in. We love INDYMEDIA and, along with SchNews and others, use it to update our own website  http://www.eroding.org.uk

We are punk based primarilly but more interested in activism and climbing over petty lifestyle differences to make a counter culture that is vibrant, creative and opposed to the selfish, oppressive and destructive system that we live under.

We have been operating for 5 years now and print out about 500 copies a month which we (usually) send out to various social centres, record stores and spaces. Even if you are not into "punk" there is usually something of interest in our listings.

Thus, we write this "news story" to remind people that we are here... so that after you post your next demo or benefit event on the INDYMEDIA UK calendar, you'll do us a favour and also submit it on our site. We don't want to just list gigs, we want to list life.. and we don't have enough free time to trawl every group's websites for the info we need.
