In August 2004, Babar was rearrested on an extradition warrent from the U.S. As some of you will be aware, the nature of the Extradition Act of 2003 means the U.S does not need to provide primae facie evidence against the defendant although the recent repatriation of British national held at Guantanamo bay (all be it back to a british prison - still without real charges, evidence)may complicate this. He remains in Belmarsh prison to this day without charge.
I urge you all to watch the programme TERROR SUSPECTS DAD WEDNESDAY 26TH JANUARY 10PM BBC2 which will detail the case further.
