Most voters are disillusioned with this Labour government talk to people in Vauxhall and Everton, to the people in Granby facing demolition of homes. Less than 1/3rd of voters elected Louise Ellman how can that be democracy? Just who does she represent, certainly not the working class of Riverside or the multi-ethnic communities.

Labour's position (and, as I understand it, that of Louise Ellman) is clear: a viable Palastinian state alongside a safe and secure Israel based on its 1967 borders. Through the Road Map a Labour Government is playing a vital part in bringing the aspiration of Palastinian statehood about. People are quick to nail their colours to the Palastine cause, but don't/won't say whether they support the right of Israel to exist or whether they condemn anti-semitism from whatever source.

As for the rest of the nonesense in your postings, along with loads of other Labour party members I have spend the last few months working on street stalls, delivering leaflets and knocking on doors in places like Vauxhall, Everton and Granby and haven't exactly been fighting for space with other parties. We've generally met with support and goodwill - we've even had to order more windown posters they were so popular. Why? Because people in the city's most deprived communities have seen the transformation to their lives and life chances under a Labour Government, which in Liverpool Riverside alone has halved unemployment, increased education spending by 50% (building 18 new schools), is providing £1.5 billion of capital investment into the Royal Liverpool Hospital and brought thousands of pensioners out of poverty with Winter Fuel Payments and Pension Credits.

Working-class maybe, but I doubt whether or not candidates are anti-zionist or anti-war are top priorities for working-class people in Liverpool. They want representatives that are oging to speak up for them, and fight to improve the quality of their lives. Socialists have got to wake up to reality.
