How to use you Vote with out letting an MP in (well sort of)

The Anagram Man | 30.04.2005 16:35 | Social Struggles

Just a quick guide about three parties which are standing in the election, there not quite an anarchist vote, but they can cause some disruption in the voting system.

In the upcoming elections almost every party you see standing seems to have some sort of crappy policy that every one knows will never work out but if frazed right sounds like the answer to all our politcal nighmares.
As an anarchist it seem stupid to vote, maybe it you could vote when some nationalist party are getting support but apart from that anarchist usually stay away from the ballot box. The problem with not voting is that its not acctually making any sort of protest. If no one voted the the last government would win by default and out of all the parties today your not going to find one that is going to speak for an anarchist, its a contridiction in terms. But now that alot of people have started realising that there isnt really a choice for the voters now days, enter the "None of the above" parties. There are three i can name right now, The None Of The Above Party, No Candidate Deserves My Vote!, and the Protest Vote Party. These parties all have similar manifestos which can be read on the below links, but the real deal with these parties is the fact that now you can vote with out letting some corrupt MP in, like i said above you can vote to keep some party out, but the problem with that is your just letting some one else in, the great thing about none of the above parties is that your not voting for some one, your voting to keep some one else out, and you dont have to put up with the consiquences of another MP getting in. When these parties win there candidate quits meaning that a by-election is forced, if a candidate from the main parties or a candidate who had already lost to them stands, then they will put another candidate up, who if get voted in quits, and the wheel continues, the main thing i like about this is just the thought about the problems it would cause to the government, as well as the fact that, like i mentioned above, your not voting some one in your voting some one else out. Voting is a contridiction, working men died to make sure we could do it but now the only options for working men will kill them, I think these parties are a genuine chance, and we should grab at it, dont vote them in, vote them out!
