Mayday March in Pictures (Again)

Nightowl | 01.05.2005 20:38 | Indymedia

The same bunch of Mayday in London march pictures as earlier but hopefully in a more screen-friendly size after my earlier technomuppet attempts at resizing.

Thousands turned out on a sunny Sunday in London for the annual Mayday march to Trafalgar Square, confounding those who predicted that this year's parade would be a damp squib.

Hey nightowl do you want explain your arrogant bigotory towards those working class people who less educated, less culterd and less subhuman then you.
Heres the evidence from u75

True unfortunately. Don't think I've ever lived in an area where so many people come up with stupid-arsed phrases like 'I don't do politics, I do shopping and lunches'. Like some of the Labour canvassers I confronted the other day, half the people don't seem to know or care about fuck all happening in the world. Try and have a discussion about immigration (or anything for that matter) and you'll often be met with shite like 'but I read it in the Sun'. Probably just before they go home to stick in their Microchips and switch on Celebrity Pro Wrestling.

You find my fist down your gullet if you said that to me in real life rather than a wimpy studentesq message board.

And i love the way you judge "lefty" credetials by what they bung in there microwaves micro chips ,pah should instant ciabetta with garlic from waitrose.

And your photographs are those proper working class.Old fogeys with beards who look like something out of a quakers meeting, students with saxephones with obligaraty "radical haircuts".
I feel as isolated from that ragtag of nobodys as you do from the "uncouth" working class you despise.

Theres a words for poeple like you "dillentes"

What ratteled are you, dont put up "right on" bigotry then.
Well the threats of violence is the consequnce of what would happen if you did say those in real life. But you will not, not outside of raddy students ghettos like indy media and u75.
Not labour or swp, those cancerous recahers are more your style, slagging off the unenlightened for not being on the more hightend higher poltical plain like your self ,is what you and them have in comman with them two.

Have you ever said those "micro chips and shopping" critiques to those w/c peoples. If so why not.

You have a frind in david arronovich and lindsey german and julie waterson what fetid company you keep.

Thanks for the offer to fill me in. If urban75 is so full of objectionable types then why have you so obviously been on there? If you had read the thread (and I hope you can read because you certainly can't string a sentence together) then you will have seen that I am not making some damning statement about the entire working class. Indeed I have pointed this out on numerous occasions during the thread, but one person is choosing to ignore this. Don't let the facts get in the way of a good argument, eh? If I had said 'ALL working class people...' the criticism would be justified. However, I have gone to great pains to point out that I am only referring to certain sections of society. Let me demonstrate:
'Some middle class people read the Daily Mail, are racist bigots and want to keep the working class down.'
'Some upper class people are uneducated toffs, only interested in having a good time on mummy and daddy's credit card'
'Some working class people selfishly say they vote Labour to improve their lot, but openly admit they would pull the drawbridge up and vote Tory if they had money.'
All the above statements are true, as are many others, as there are many sections in society. The danger would be in replacing the word 'some' with 'all' which I pointed out on numerous occasions to someone who is choosing to twist my words either through ignorance or their own agenda. By the way, here's another statement. 'Some people are so thick that the first thing that comes into their head is to threaten violence to cover up the fact that they can't string a sentence or argument together'. I think you might recognise who I am talking about. If you have trouble take a look in the mirror.

MR BACKTRACKER

04.05.2005 08:37

I was not threterning to dump you ,i was giving you the low down in what would happen if you did say those things to the target of the thick lumpen working class. Now your backsliding saying its just a certain section of the working class your refering to.
At least the hard right stick to there guns when it comes to hateing and depesing the w/c.You cower and hide when people pull you up on your bigotory (thought you would be at home in indy media et-all).Who are these people you came across which made you bust a hernia ,who eat micro chips (a crime of ammnese evil).
And add to your bogoptory to now take the piss out of dyslxics.

MICROCHIPS FOR THE PEOPLE

HAIL THE FUEL FOR THE NEW WORKING CLASS!!!!!

MR LUSTBATHER

ho hum

04.05.2005 16:27

As I've said on several occasions at no point do the comments demonise the whole working class and anyone who tries to say that they do is either ignorant beyond belief or a liar. If you can find any phrases such as ALL or ENTIRE I will gladly hold by hands up. In fact, as I've also explained, the original post with which I agreed referred to 'chavs' which I believe you will generally find defined as a fairly uneducated and antisocial SECTION of the working or middle class. If you can find anywhere that defines chavs as 'the working class' again I will hold my hands up. This is not backtracking, this is pointing out to people who either choose to ignore it through ignorance or their own agenda the context of the original comments. You would like to believe that I have criticised the entire working class because it suits your argument, but without that you have nothing.

THUS SPAKE NIGHT OWL

So just to get my facts right
1.Who where these people who all said "'I don't do politics, I do shopping and lunches'
2.Who looks at the sun and spouts the same argument
3.And whheres your proof they all eat micro-chips and watch celbrity pro=wrstling(and so fucking what if they eat chips and watch wrestling, are you going to lestliatee about peoples eating and veweing habits, compulsary jon snow and ciabetta classes is it now).

yob

05.05.2005 07:28

Again you ignore the fact that chav does not mean 'the working class'. Take that away and you have no argument. Are you also honestly suggesting that there is not a section of society that cannot be arsed to do anything for themselves and believe the shit that the redtops and state throw at them? If you deny that they exist then you are a liar. By the way, if anyone is backtracking here it is you from your initial violent post. As soon as someone challenged you on it you're all 'oh I didn't mean....' Yeah, right. Have you found someone to write your more recent ones for you? By the way, I notice you've been banned from Urban75. I wonder what for? Very surprising. Still, there's little point in talking to yobs so cheerio.

The theart of violence is real IF you said those insulting things to my face or your intented targets the "thick fuckers" you will get collerd.Just like if you called someone a "nigger" or " paki" its called being defensive.
I am not that wet behind the ears to suggest that some w/c think like that, but a dont think of peoples lives as just "politics politics politics"those people might me not as brainy and superoir as you,but i would rather have them as frinds then a smug fucker like you.
Your still squiming and slimeing away from your orig post on urban75,its all there in its cobwebleft glorly for the enlighted indymedia mob to look at.
As to my post being a bit more scrbbed up,i took my time so your "enlighted" self could read it.
