a few thoughts on detention politics

onix | 08.06.2005 08:36 | Analysis | Migration

a few simple reasonings abouts the wrongs in a greedy , uncreative detention politics.

Often estland has been the subject of my wildest claims:) and many a beautifull phrase i'v written in a vain attempt to even approach a description of her beauty and integrity.
yet even such a paradisical freestate exists ofcourse not without her delusions.

I'm a fortunate one, that my homely character and lack of engagement in usual commonplaces offers me an , albeit restricted, very prudent view on things, whilk may have rested uncovered by eyes, less inquisitive, though the more startled through impressions.

Among the most obnoxious facts, for the limited view on these matters, is i think to the purpose of none, remains i never availed of opportunitys to interview prisoners, or set right the things so done wrong to the 'wrongdoers', the malignant or malignated.

My visions of improving the quality of their secluded lives, of bettering their options, in their fortwhile existance, that distressedly in my country of origin are received with so much of the utter contempt and rejection, hide here as much beyond my reach.

Some minute impressions, of times longgone, in wich such victims of this world, those escapists in alcoholic tremor, have been locked in camps , reposes, that resemble a short hollidays organisation, however layed fundament for hopes of a better future here.

So that now i have to divert from this country, it's embrace so rewarding, to touch upon neglicence,
and contempt, restrictions and behindrings wich are so much more commonly found and maintained, ja even persecuted and intensified, in these barbarian nations still clinging to their privileges of wasting and exploit, we call the west.

Bias and arrogance as felt towards the ones that desperately and individually stand up against these mechanisms of abuse rule the socalled liberal, or even social, opinions in these nations, and where the settled classes linger in luxury and unjustifiable perusal of worlds resources, ever more presuring the chanceless so deeply set aside, are withheld the oportunity not only to learn, to enjoy life, but worser these options we, their brothers and equals in an easier settled position, could offer.

The despair they feel and live up to in ways not always agreeable, we answer with prejudice,
their questions aswered with administrations, their struggle by limiting their deployment.
I have to plead for them, have to commission your commitment, i have to shout when their voices are damped through thick walls of capture, their ideas beaten sullen by allowing them no dream.

In a world (the western), that left them no opportunities or justification, since personal circumstances and society are such to dictate a humans life, they are not only limited in their movements, they are limited in their prospects, creativity, development, employment, socialising, acceptance, sheer joy in daily life, its all sacrificed for yet some more cents in the purses of the ones who instigate similar demonic draconism on the larger part of the world. Answering question with weapon, and pride with humiliation.

Please understand this will be to no avail, it only serves to reconfirm the selfmade conviction or security that is so exclusively connected to just these purses, wich already and for ages exclude the larger part of humankind from happiness.

In the humble expectation this simple expultation will excommunicate such repression i await,
yours always, onix.

(ps) its just text, i wouldnt know how to secure a decent layout. It looks pretty ok the way i file it here, but former experiences make me most insecure as to it's final appearance on indymedia, if possible, admins, facilitate teh copy paste from such a medium as a messenger message or *.txt. i rather dislike to be ridiculed by a sheer technical manco wich cud easily be circumvented.)
