Opportunity for reporters of tomorrow

London 2012 has teamed up with the BBC to give one budding young sports reporter the opportunity of a lifetime.
CBBC's XChange TV programme is looking for a talented writer aged between 8 and 12 years to travel to Singapore with the London 2012 team to witness the crucial vote to elect the 2012 Host City.
The competition winner will report on the vote for XChange as the world waits to find out which city will be chosen to host the 2012 Olypmic Games and Paralympic Games.
Youngsters from all over the UK are invited to submit a 50-word poem about the sports star who has inspired them the most.
Entries must be received by 17 June, when a distinguished panel of judges will examine the poems for the creativity and writing ability that are crucial skills for a budding sports reporter.
XChange presenter and Wheelchair Basketball star Ade Adepitan, who will be part of London 2012's delegation at the crucial vote on 6 July, will be part of the judging panel.
"This prize is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for any youngster who is keen to get involved in reporting and presenting," said the Paralympic bronze medallist.
"It will mean that they will get to take part in an historic moment and meet some incredible, inspirational athletes along the way. I wish all the contestants the best of luck and I'm looking forward to seeing the entries."
London 2012 Chairman Sebastian Coe added: "This is an exciting competition which is designed to encourage and inspire the next generation of sports reporters.
"London's Bid enjoys strong and growing support from young people across the whole of the UK and I look forward to welcoming the lucky winner who will join us all in Singapore."
The prize includes return flights to Singapore for the winner and a parent or guardian, plus accommodation and transfers from anywhere in the UK.
