At 11.18 Police confirmed six explosions and one collision on the Underground, and one hospital reports receiving 90 casualties. Fatalities have occurred but the number is so far unconfirmed by emergency services.
The entire London Transport system - underground and buses - has now been closed down. Trains are being stopped as far outside London as Chelmsford. Londoners are being asked to stay in their homes and off the streets, and to avoid calling the emergency services unless their lives are threatened.
Casualty info line for concerned friends and relatives to be announced shortly.
Blair has anounced that he will be staying at the G8 summit, not returning to London.

who benefits from this?
who benefits when blair has to return to london, "temporarily"?
who benefits when there is no further discussion and negotiation and progress about global warming, climate change, africa, due to "external events"?
who benefits when the entire international press corps flees the g8 and runs to london?
who benefits when innocent people die?
who benefits? who benefits?
