As far as we know so far, approx 5-10 people from the Bristol/southwest area face trials in Scotland, mainly in late September. Several people have already been fined (large amounts!). we understand some people in south Wales also face trials, and we'd hope to work together with them. If you face a trial in Scotland and are in our area, and want support, then come to this meeting (or at least contact us).

We already have some funds - money back from the Bristol convergence kitchen; and 60+quid raised after a post-G8 discussion at the bristol Indymedia film night on 12 July. A largish benefit is planned in conjunction with Bristle mag (www.bristle.org.uk) in mid to late September, and there will be more before for sure!
