The action outside the MoD Main Building in Whitehall, London will be at 7pm this Thursday. People can either meet there or at the Embankement tube station nearby and join us for the walk to the MoD.

We are doing this to protest against the decision to adopt nuclear powered engines for the two new Aircraft Carriers being built by BAe Systems (which of course we don't need anyway !)

All of the early public announcements said these ships would have gas turbine engines but many of us suspected the switch to nuclear power would come later in the project and that has been the case. About 18 people are commited so far but the more the better, a group from Aldermaston are trying to organise transport that will swell the numbers by a further 10.
