Video – Anarchists Attack the Headquarters of the Greek Riot Police and the Police Special Forces
On 18-9-05, early Sunday morning, anarchist comrades attacked the headquarters of the Greek Riot Police and the Police Special Forces, (MAT-EKAM), in the Goudi area of Athens City, taking the police forces by complete surprise. Dozens of petrol bombs were hurtled in the camp’s interior causing great damage to many police riot vans and cars. Following that, they proceeded with an attack against the Precinct of the Zografou area causing damage to the police cars of the precinct.

Freedom to G. Kalantzidis, P. Karasarinis and P. Aspiotis.

In Greece, insurrection:

in britain, such splendid interruptions of the spectacle as dancing in Tesco and counter-summit organisation.

What's the gap, comrades? Critical thinking, please.

More importantly, what can be done to bridge that gap?

pondering

what are you saying?

So your point being? You cannot compare Britain and Greece, they have two different histories and societies.

"You cannot compare Britain and Greece," - ok, I don't agree but let's see where you're going with this...

" they have two different histories and societies. " - hang on, hang on... I wasn't trying to identify them - I was trying to compare them, which is EXACTLY what you just did. What are the significant differences between Britain and Greece, such that they have stuff like this and we have Tesco invasions?

Don't you agree the greek situation is one we should be seeking to move towards?

still waiting...

Terrorists

Theres not much difference between them setting up a camera to film a petrol bomb attack on a Greek Police Station and Al Quieda setting up a camera to film a bomb attack in Iraq. What was achieved from this?

Terrorists?!

I think theres a big difference and being from Greece myself i can tell u exactly what it is.

1 If u knew anything about the Greek riot police or police in general u wouldnt be speaking. Every time theres a protes theyre out looking for excuses to kick ass. whether it be pentioners, pregnant women or children in the protest they dont care. They are trained murderers. Police in Greece beat up illegal immigrants who have been detained on a daily basis and have been responsible for the deaths of many people in custody and then go on to cover it up by saying the cause of death was pneumonia or something. At least the anarchists in greece (which i could find 1million things to fault them at but not this) are showing the police that if they think they can do things like that and have no consequences to pay for they are wrong. Go back to July when that Brazillian was shot in the UK. Do u think Ian Blair and his thugs should get away with this crime unpunished? Obviously jail is the right place for them but taking up ressistance to these terrorists be that by burning their headquarters to the ground or just confronting them on the streets like anarchists do in Greece would show them that there is ressistance to their methods.

If u dont know dont talk

it could happen here....

There are a lot of people in britain who would be up for, shall we say, some more robust methods against police / state oppression, but for whatever reason nothing manages to bring enough of them together, at one time, at one place, in a way in which they can work together.

It doesnt need thousands of people on the street, just a few dozen committed people. But we are all too scared to stick our necks out to make it happen - and too intimidated by special branch tactics of informants and infiltrators.

We have the people, we just dont have the organisation. Suggestions on a postcard please...
