Repression of dissent.

DISSIDENTS
By Dr Les Dove

Sometimes when I wake up in the morning I wonder where I am. What country, and what apartment am I living in? It takes a few moments for me to recollect and put my thoughts together. I have moved so many times over the last thirty years I have become a global citizen. No, I’m not a criminal running away from the police, I’m a dissident just trying to survive. That is what dissident writers often have to do if they want to go on writing. They can’t stay in their own countries anymore and write the truth as they see it. The powers that be won’t allow them to do that. The authorities now insist that writers agree with their views, no matter what those views might be. I refuse to do that. I have my own point of view. That’s how I became a dissident in the first place.

In 1975 I was living in South Africa. It was during the apartheid years. I had already seen blatant racism in the United States and I wanted a look-see at the South African version. I got it in no small measure. Writers who disagreed with apartheid couldn’t even get a visa to visit South Africa in those days, so I went in through the back door. South African born writers, like Donald Woods, and some other brave souls, I very quickly found out, were being hounded, persecuted and worse by the security police, who thought that framing dissidents and putting bombs under their cars was something of a joke. For black people it was much worse. Constant brutal beatings, prison, torture and being thrown off rooftops while handcuffed was an everyday fact of their daily lives. For a while I lived in an office building in the center of Johannesburg. It was called the Gray’s Building. The caretaker there told me that the building had, years before, been occupied by the security police. She also told me that over seventy black people had died there after being thrown off the roof by the security police. By that time I had been there long enough not to doubt her word.

A short time later I moved into an apartment in the Hillbrow section of the city, which was a trendy almost cosmopolitan area. I began working on a book, nothing to do with politics at all. Whatever, I soon realized that any kind of writing aroused the worst kind of deep suspicion within the secret police. Somebody had heard the sound of my typewriter; there were no home computers in those days. (And in South Africa no television either.) That my apartment had been thoroughly searched soon became obvious to me. I wasn’t worried about it. I had nothing to hide. But that meant nothing to the secret police. They required writers, of any kind, to actively support their repression of black people. They refused to recognize any form of neutrality whatsoever. You were either for them or against them. (As other tyrants, like George Bush and Tony Blair, would later say.) So naturally I was against them. That people could be so brutally terrorized by governments simply because of their skin color was totally beyond my understanding. So that made me a ‘communist’ in the eyes of the South African security police, probably because their terrorism against black South African’s was being covertly supported by the CIA. And Britain’s MI-6. Who, in trying to degrade their opponents, had also gotten into the habit of labeling all dissidents ‘communists’, which I have never been. Now they seem to have changed the label to ‘subversive’, which I most definitely am. I think all fascist police states should be subverted. Whatever, when I was asked by black friends to judge a talent competition in the nearby township of Soweto, which I gladly did, my fate was sealed. White people were not supposed to consort with black people. A white man could be sent to prison for two years just for having sexual intercourse with a black woman. As a matter of interest he could also get the same jail time simply for having a copy of Playboy magazine. Whatever, my visit to Soweto was, unknown to me, secretly filmed and distributed. It wasn’t very long before the secret police obtained a copy of the film. As a result I quickly found myself amongst the repressed. I had become a prime target and was put under twenty-four hours of daily surveillance by the secret police and their ‘goon-squads’.

The police and intelligence agencies in many countries often use goon-squads. Their job is to harass and try to intimidate their ‘targets’ at every possible opportunity. They also try to provoke their targets into fights and other bad situations so that they will incriminate themselves. Goon-squads are also used to denigrate victims and damage their character through spreading lies and false rumors about them and their families. This character assassination inevitably causes many targets to loose their jobs and quickly become alienated from their friends and families. As a result targets can soon find themselves completely alone, isolated, with no one to turn to for help of any kind. Once they are isolated targets are then subjected to the very real terror of being subjected to ‘microwave attack.’ and ‘synthetic telepathy.’ These microwave actions can bring on a whole host of problem’s including fatal tumors and heart attacks. That is what soon happened to me. First in Pretoria, then Johannesburg. Later microwave weapons were used on me in the United Kingdom and the United States.

Once a dissident becomes a ‘target’ of the worldwide intelligence network they are, it seems, a ‘target for life.’ No matter where they might go in the world it’s a pretty sure bet that the ‘intelligence services’ will follow and continue to persecute them in efforts to silence their criticism. It appears that only the death of targeted individuals ends their suffering and repression. Disablement, tumors and heart problems brought on by microwave attacks have undoubtedly already killed many dissidents around the world, and it seems that they will continue to do so for some time yet, as only the European Parliament has considered outlawing these deadly weapons. They are at this date still being widely used against dissidents in Britain and the United States, amongst some other countries.

However, when microwave weapons were used against me all those years ago I faced a totally new and unknown threat. Fortunately for me I was already a world traveler, and far from being stupid, so I didn’t scare easily. Whatever, finding myself being subjected to daily persecution, so apparent I might add, that even some white South African’s openly objected to it, (something that nobody in Britain or America ever did. I must add) I faced the totally new experience of not being able to find peace or rest even in my own apartment. Even worse was the fact that the one good white friend I had made in Johannesburg did himself turn soon against me. I understood why of course, he and his family would have been persecuted had he not. So I couldn’t hold his attitude against him. He was Dutch and had relatives in South Africa. So eventually decided to leave the country and go to Rhodesia, as it was then, while I still could.

I soon made new friends in Rhodesia, and gathered more real info on what was really happening in the country at that time. But it wasn’t very long before I found myself being ‘targeted’ again. This time by MI-6, who had sent one of their ‘stooges’ from the U.K. to try and get some more info on my ‘subversive activities’? Rhodesian special branch police were also heavily involved in targeting and ‘fitting-up’ other dissidents who refused to go along with their own version of apartheid, so it wasn’t long before I had some company. But as my new dissident friends were deported time and again I decided to leave Rhodesia too and return to Britain, where my education of its police state began.

As it turned out my U.K. education actually began on the flight back to Britain. No sooner had the aircraft taken off than loud remarks about my ‘supporting kafers’ were being directed at me by two men sitting behind me. They sounded English, but I had no way of knowing for sure. Whatever, I had no doubts that they were ‘government agents’ of some kind. They were far too ‘practiced’ in denigrating me not to be. They kept up their remarks all the way to Britain, but I simply ignored them.

As I left the aircraft after arriving in Britain one of the ‘agents’ remarked, “We’ll give him a week to settle in. Then we’ll go for the bastard!” Which, I might add, was exactly what happened. I had gone to stay with my sister and her husband who lived in Hampshire. And, as the man had remarked, one week later I found myself being targeted again, only this time by the British MI-5. Which certainly gave me a new insight into my fellow citizens. I have to say that up until that moment I had always been proud of being British, as most British people are. Like everyone else I had known there over the years I had been instilled with a confidence in the country, it’s system of justice, and it’s people. I knew of course that it had a security service. But until then I had always assumed that British security was in place to guard the state, and everyone in it, against foreign enemies and anyone who could be considered a threat to the country. That I myself might be considered ‘a threat’ to Britain, in any way whatsoever, had never entered my mind. British democracy and free speech had been instilled in me since I was born there, and up until that moment I had never had a reason to doubt it. Had anyone told me that Britain also had a ruthless fascist state police that could bear comparison with that of South Africa’s I would have laughed in his or her face!

How very wrong I was. Indeed, I was soon to find out that the British secret police were even worse than their South African counterparts. If ever the words ‘degenerate’ and ‘vindictive’ could be used in describing character they could most certainly be used in describing the kind of people employed within Britain’s secret police. It isn’t that they simply have low morals they don’t have any morals at all. They don’t even know the meaning of the word. Which, if anything, certainly speaks volumes about the people who need to employ such monsters in the first place. No self-respecting country anywhere would tolerate such degenerates being amongst them at all, let alone giving them all but unlimited power to harass, persecute, torture and murder people at will. But that is what British government does. Indeed MI-5 agents and their stooges are employed by the government to do exactly that. And make no mistake they do it very well. They have perfected their methods over many years. We simply haven’t known about them. We have been deceived and hoodwinked into believing that Britain is a free and decent society where such things could never happen, where even the mere mention of a ‘secret police’ is considered to be something of a joke. But, as I was soon to find out, MI-5, which is Britain’s secret police, is no joke at all. To say they are scum would be a vast understatement. Like secret police everywhere they put themselves above the law. Indeed they can and do torture and kill people with total impunity. And they are there for one simple reason, which is to make very sure that true democracy will never ever take root in the United Kingdom. Indeed, should true democracy ever arrive in Britain the first thing it would need to accomplish would be the removal of MI-5 and all the repressive political apparatus which it has installed throughout the entire country. Then, and only then, would the British people be truly free to run their own lives and have the kind of government they could be proud of.

Of course, if Britain really did have a free press and media the British people would have been informed of the atrocities being committed there by MI-5 a long time ago. But they don’t. As I was soon to find out censorship of all kinds is rife within Britain. The ‘Official Secrets Act’ there just about prohibits the mere mention of anything that MI-5 and MI-6 does to harm British citizens. No newspaper editor or reporter would remain in their job for five minutes if they dared to expose the dirty little secrets of MI-5’s covert operations, let alone their torture and killing machines. Some writers have tried to do so over the years, I’ll give them credit for that. The writer/reporter David Leigh has certainly tried hard. But as yet nobody in the British media industry has truly informed the public of the gross human rights abuses being committed right under their noses. As a whole the British public is just as uninformed and brainwashed by their media today as it has always been. That a small section of the public is now so informed as to what is really going on there is due solely to the Internet.

After living in Hampshire for a while I moved to Cheshire, then to Whitby in the Yorkshire Moors. But no matter where I went MI-5 agents followed me and instigated local people to denigrate me. They even tried to provoke them into physically attacking me. And they continued their persecution of me relentlessly. Finally I decided to move to Harrogate in North Yorkshire and stay there no matter what? It had become obvious to me by that time that MI-5 would follow me wherever I went, and as I had some contacts in Harrogate I found an apartment in a nice part of town and settled in for the long term. As elsewhere the persecution continued, but eventually I found a way to capitalize on it and so turned the local repression to my advantage.

As computers came into everyday use I got a computer myself and started a web site that exposed Britain’s MI-5 in it’s true light. I wrote scathing articles about them every week. But few people were using computers in those days, other than to play silly games on, so not many people in Britain saw them. But MI-5 did and it led them to persecuting me in every manner they could devise in the hope of silencing my criticism of them. Sleep depravation and microwave attacks were just a small part of what happened to me almost every day during those years in Britain. MI-5 slandered my character at every opportunity. My cars was damaged and sabotaged on many occasions. Their agents also tried to run me off the road many times, and once made a blatant attempt to run me down and kill me whilst I was walking in the street one evening. Had any of these attempts on my life succeeded they would undoubtedly been passed off by MI-5 as ‘accidents.’ My home was also burgled a great many times. No matter how often I changed the locks. MI-5 damaged and stole many of my personal possessions, including money, book manuscripts and many personal documents. They even turned some members of my own family against me.

When I visited other countries, as I did often in the following years, I was shadowed relentlessly by MI-6, and they made very sure I knew it. But I refused to be silenced. By them or anyone else who supported the blatant fascism they were imposing upon the British people. Today there are more web sites exposing MI-5 and British fascism. But most of these sites are being hosted by overseas hosting services, as MI-5 has consistently been able to close down British sites by putting pressure on providers and hosts there. Yet few Web sites have been as hard hitting as they could and should have been. The best of them all was The Freedom Network, set up not by a Britisher but an Australian called George Farquar. A good man who did more than an excellent job of exposing many of the horrors being committed by MI-5 and MI-6. However, George was framed by MI-5 on trumped up charges and put into prison. His site was closed down too. Eventually George was released and he is I believe now back in Australia. He is sadly missed.
A mirror site of The Freedom Network can fortunately now be found on an excellent American Web site: www.mindcontrolforums.com other good British Web sites can be found at:  http://www.deepblacklies.co.uk/ and  http://rain.prohosting.com/imoffi/index.html

Some American Web sites are extremely outspoken and critical of they’re governments, far more so than most British sites have been? In particular John Kaminski’s excellent articles at his web site:  http://www.johnkaminski.com are really scathing. He is a joy to read? Without mincing words John says exactly what needs to be said. I think he must have something of a true Yorkshire man in him. It’s a pity that there isn’t many more like him left in Yorkshire. Who in Britain, apart from myself, has written articles like his, ‘Enemies Of Everyone’, ‘The New Heart of Darkness’ and ‘The Perfect Enemy’? Yet, as in Britain, no mainstream American newspaper ever prints them. Which I think is a great shame. If the people of any nation needed a wake-up call it is the people in the United States for it has indeed, like Britain, become a true fools paradise.

Whilst I was based in Britain I documented many of the abuses being committed on a daily basis by MI-5. Indeed I studied and obtained my PhD there by basing my dissertation on MI-5 abuses. I found that studying helped to take my mind off the daily persecution I was suffering. So I also got my CPH and a diploma in Noesitherapy. Which, I might add, helped me in no small way to survive MI-5’s efforts against me. I also wrote the ‘Torture Report’ which also be found on the above mind control forums Web site. As can a copy of how MI-5 gets away with abusing the Universal Declaration Of Human Rights, to which Britain is a hypocritical signatory. And not the only one I might add. Countries all over the world have signed the Declaration of Human Rights, yet along with Britain and the United States most of them still practice torture in all its various deadly forms. Indeed, I have reluctantly reached the conclusion that governments as such are the worst terrorist organizations in the entire world. Whilst being quick to denounce what they term ‘terrorist’ organizations in the Middle East and elsewhere our own governments remain silent about their own terror networks that have over many years’ tortured and murdered men, women and children in the many millions. And they are still doing so.

Had we really had the so-called ‘democracy’ that our so-called ‘leaders’ consistently talk about few of the above horrors would have happened. But we don’t. So we must suffer them. The democracy they talk of is no more than a sham and just another of their many lies we must endure on a daily basis. Whilst these ‘leaders’ export their terror and phony ‘democracies’ to other countries under the pretence of ‘saving them’ they line their own pockets with money they have invested in the armaments business and vast multinational companies who bleed dry every country they possibly can, while at the same time maintaining their pretence at spreading ‘freedom and democracy.’ They are doing no such thing. They are no more than a bunch of selfish unprincipled cold-blooded crooks at best, who through wealth, power and privilege, have, with their own terror squads, all but taken over the world and made slaves of millions. Yet when these fascists get a taste of their own medicine they cry out in anguish, demanding justice and retribution. A justice and retribution they have denied to untold millions of other people all over the world. But, as the American’s like to say: What goes around comes around.

The ‘intelligence services’ we are told are there to protect us all. They aren’t. They are in place to keep us down and in our place, and their corrupt masters in the illuminati in theirs – at any cost. Britain’s MI-5 and the American C.I.A. Lie, cheat, steal, frame, torture and murder anyone who they feel may in any way be a threat to that situation. They themselves have created some of the worlds worst ‘terrorist organizations’, which they have then used time and again both to deceive and manipulate us and to gain more power for their masters and themselves so that ordinary citizens will be powerless to remove them, or indeed protect themselves against the many injustices being heaped upon them. Indeed, these government monsters are passing unjust laws almost on a weekly basis, laws that help them to prop up and maintain their criminal enterprises.

Our elected representatives are supposed to be working for us, not themselves. Yet as the United States secretary of state recently admitted in a televised interview, their foreign policies have over the last sixty years supported not democracy but fascist terrorist police states that, under U.S. direction, have murdered millions of innocent people. All right under the noses of America’s Senate Oversight Committee, which supposedly is there to prevent such abuses. Britain and other nations were more than willing to support this genocide. That governments got away with this mass murder was due to the all pervading secrecy and censorship, which did and continues to hide their hideous crimes against humanity. People who are brave enough to try and defend their own countries by responding in kind to the terror visited upon them by people like George Bush and Tony Blair are called vicious terrorists whilst the real terrorists in our governments hide under a blanket of secrecy and deception leaving us the people to answer for their stupid actions and crimes, whilst they further manipulate us by enacting even more repressive laws that blind us to the truth and allow them to commit further atrocities under the guise of ‘preventing terrorism.’

Eventually I left Britain for good and went to America for a few years. I had already lived there many years before. Since then I had visited the country a few times, but it had changed drastically since the Reagan years. As had happened in Britain under Margaret Thatcher the American people under Ronald Reagan had become far more self-centered and the country was wallowing in corruption and scams of all kinds. The rip-off was in everywhere. Bums were on the make just about anywhere you looked. You couldn’t walk down a street without somebody approaching you and asking for money. Con artists of all kinds abound. It seemed to me as though everyone was trying to put something over on everyone else. It was amazing just how many people actually lived on the street. Many of them were quite old in years too. Being homeless is a huge problem right across the country. Present day America, quite obviously, is no longer the country that I once known and loved.

The America I had known had obviously been overtaken by the same kind of fascism that Britain had. Leading the way with their own selfish greed and avarice the nations politicians have made America the laughing stock of the world. They have destroyed the very foundations on which their country was built. Many people that I met, however, thought themselves as being rich. But the homes and cars they boasted of were in most cases owned not by them but by the banks. The average American I quickly found is up to the eyeballs in dept of all kinds. A great many of them have to do two jobs simply to keep up their payments so as to remain solvent. It was all quite sad and depressing, I thought.

Many American’s, however, still believe in their ‘democracy’ with a passion. The mere hint of a parade and people turn out in their thousands to wave and salute the flag. That American ‘democracy’ may not be all that they believe it to be never ever enters the mind’s of most American’s, nor indeed does it enter the minds of millions of other people who worldwide have over the years come to believe in ‘the American way of life and the good old Stars and Stripes’. I was once once a believer myself. But now, alas, the honeymoon is over. Like millions of Americans my views about their so-called democracy have been drastically changed. America may well have a ‘version’ of democracy but that is a far cry from it being the real thing.

Actually living in America exposes one to the reality of government corruption and deceit that one could never experience when living elsewhere. But don’t get me wrong. I still love most American’s as people. They can in general be kind hearted and generous to a fault. I have lived with them on and off for fifty years and never once have I ever thought of not promoting their virtues. Their government, however, has now become a very different thing altogether to what it was before Reagan. To put it mildly – it sucks! The government has become corrupt and self-serving to a fault. It never was as pure as many Americans had in the past believed it to be, and now it has reached a new all time low.

The American government has declared war on it’s own people. In supposedly combating the ‘terrorism’ it itself has been deeply involved in, the present government, led by George W Bush, has itself become a terrorist organization. It has in many ways become a self-centered fascist police state based in Washington. And those amongst us, who abhor fascism, and all it stands for, have become targets of its oppression. American troops who once gave their lives in the defense of Europe and real democracy have now been brainwashed into supporting fascism, both in their own country and abroad. Only now they don’t call it fascism anymore – they call it ‘democracy’. They have simply switched labels. The art of political double-speak has been perfected yet again by the Bush regime, just as it was by the Reagan regime before the two Bush’s came to power. The so-called ‘democracy’ that George Bush frequently talks about has been broadcast afar by his ‘state media’ which is eagerly lapped up by an ignorant and indifferent American public, many of whom quite apparently couldn’t care less what George Bush does so long as it doesn’t effect them personally. That is, they think it doesn’t. When they think at all? That most American’s don’t think nor reason very much is due to the fact of them simply cannot believe that their president could tell lies to them, or that their government might actually put them in harms way simply to make a profit out of wars.

Whatever, as in Britain the American security services soon got to work on me. The so-called ‘freedom of speech’ in America is just as phony as the British version. The usual political ‘stooges’ began following me around wherever I went, and rumors of my being ‘a communist’ soon began to surface. In the first two-apartments I lived in some loud mouthed louts did their level best to slander me in every way possible. And when I moved on to another complex my previously friendly neighbors were soon replaced with still more of these nasty stooges. Eventually I found a small and quiet apartment complex in Palm Springs where I lived quite happily for a few years. But as time went by I found out that the secret police were trying to move another of their stooges into the apartment next to mine. I knew they had succeeded when I began to feel the ‘microwave effect’ yet again. Then there was another attempt on my life when late one night a large SUV ran through a red light and tried to run me down while I was crossing the street. It was ‘no accident’; the driver knew exactly what he was doing, but I was just a little too quick for him. He missed me by just a few inches as I dived to the side of the road. I heard him laughing as he drove on at speed. But I wasn’t at all worried about the incident. I had become well used to them.

Shortly afterwards I had a bad heart attack when in bed one night. It wasn’t a natural heart attack. My heart has always been strong. It was an attack brought on by microwaves. But it still effected me greatly nonetheless. For a few weeks I was unable to walk very far without having to sit down and rest. By that time there had been so many attempts to injure and kill me I had genuinely forgotten just how many there had been. Now I’m almost seventy years old, so my life is going to be mostly downhill from now on no matter what. What is left of my life just isn’t worth worrying about to any great extent. It has in many ways been an exiting life, though often a difficult one. I have visited and lived in many countries all over the world. I have made and lost some good friends. I have never been bored. And I have found out the truth about my own country, which many people don’t, and most of all I have found out the true character of my own countrymen. Because when you live in police states the true character of people always shows through. So of course I shall never to return to the land of my birth. The cold reality of my own personal experiences has clearly highlighted all the myths and the lies that are still believed in Britain and America. Particularly their so-called support for the underdog. That was a myth that very quickly hit the dust. Now I want no part of any of it. I have no real ties to any country. My home is where I hang my hat. And that is how I like it.

I’m often amazed at the number of people who still believe the vast deceptions brought about by ‘the state.’ In spite of much progress being made in the world these mostly phony government institutions continue to fool and manipulate untold millions of people into believing the vilest rubbish imaginable. Indeed, sometimes I get the impression that people want to be fooled? I do, however, also believe that there are still enough good people left with enough courage and foresight to turn things around and bring sanity back into the world. Though it will be far from easy. It can’t be done through using fixed ballot boxes to vote for phony representatives in phony democracies. A good old-fashioned revolution it seems to me will be the only way to install genuinely true democracies and remove the tyrants that now rule the world. Time alone will reveal the truth?

Like many other people I once firmly believed that my own country was indeed a true democracy that genuinely reflected the wishes of the British population. On my visits to the United States I thought the same of that country too. That however was a long time ago. Over the last thirty-five years I have, through personal experience, come to believe exactly the opposite. Whilst the leaders of these two countries have time and time again publicly expressed their disgust of fascism and it’s many outrages, privately they have covertly, and thoroughly, supported it. With the connivance of the media and press barons a long line of prime ministers and presidents have had blatant lies and misrepresentations written down, praised and published as gospel by the ‘state press’. Appearing on television these self-same hypocritical liars have publicly praised freedom and democracy whilst in their own countries they have practiced neither. Their many security services have secretly ruthlessly persecuted and murdered not just thousands of people but also many millions around the entire world as they sought to serve and preserve the fascism they publicly decry. Today the American constitution isn’t worth the paper it’s written on. As in Britain American elections are rigged and favor only the elite few. The security services of both countries persecute and suppress anyone who seeks to end the mass corruption that is plainly obvious to any serious researcher. The United States and Britain have indeed become the great Satan’s of the world.
