The upswing is Americans historically don't follow the rules. Especially when it comes to authority. All I can add to you is keep up the pressure. We need all the help we can get.

anywhere else, and I'd take this as clever sarcasm. Here, some dribbler actually means this :( Somebody using the word democracy to describe the election of Blair by two out of ten, or the US, where the last few elections have just been a coin toss (50/50). The coin toss is more interesting, cos if you guess the WRONG side as an American, you have 4 years of NO representation as a punishment.
The main point, of course, is the idiot comparison between Bush and Hitler. Bush is an illiterate drunken coke head, who even after extensive coaching, can barely mumble incoherently at the VERY VERY few REAL political engagements he is allowed to appear at. He has the intelligence of a rotting log. He is the IDIOT son of an old political family, chosen for exactly those qualities.
Bush was put in power as NOTHING BUT A PUPPET. That he has even his own insignificant and mostly useless mind DOES sometimes get in the way of his puppet masters, but that is in the nature of this particular kind of power game.
Blair does get to influence Bush DIRECTLY on occasion, but Blair's real control of US policy is through his 'alliance' with those that mst actively pull Bush's strings. Every one of the extremist acts that the US has been responsible for in recent years have ALWAYS been possibilities with some in US politics, but a lack of major external support made the desires of US extremists stay just that in the past.
Blair has given the 'crazies' in American politics the boost of EXTERNAL legitimacy that they required to take power, and put 'their' plans into action. WITHOUT BLAIR, non of the horrific escalating crimes against humanity would have been carried out by the US government.
Hitler was significant, because HE was the lynch pin of history at that time, although as a mass murderer, he DID NOT use a gun, or a bomb, or poison gas himself. If you cannot get your head around this detachment, you cannot understand how powerful people make a difference in history.
Blair is the lynch pin in OUR history. Without him, no apartment bombings and war in Chechnya, no war in Kosovo, no 911 and war in Afghanistan and Iraq. It DOES NOT matter that Putin's people were the actual bombers in Moscow, or that Israelis willingly sacrificed themselves on 911, or that the UK army is too small to make a real difference in any conflict. What matters is that Blair, and Blair alone, was able to influence Earth history to take a direction that it NEVER would have taken without him.
The self same reason that Hitler was significant is the self same reason that Blair is. Today, Blair's people murdered a street full of kids in Iraq, in a pure act of revenge for the death's of 5 of Blair's butchers. Blair KNOWS that the chances of ordinary people in the UK hearing about this is ZERO, given his total control of the Mass Media. THINK ABOUT THIS. Give me ONE example of when Hitler's forces TARGETED kids in revenge for Nazi soldiers being killed. Today, Blair, and his cabal of human monsters, are watching the footage taken of the slaughter of the innocent, and laughing. Tomorrow, Blair will tell you that if you give your kids crisps or a chocolate bar for their school lunch box, YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO BE PUNISHED.
