Why the world should Boycott Bush!

Anti-Fascist | 02.11.2005 16:15

The corporate USA has become the global parasite as it sucks "surplus value"(profits) out of the rest of the world at an exponential rate!

Don't feed the parasite!

The world should boycott capitalism

02.11.2005 17:17

These issues are the same worldwide dont think Britain or any1 else is any different.
Just happens that the USA is the big player right now and the rest are after the crumbs. But i can guarantee if u look at any major company from wherever u will see the crimes they commit in all their glory.

For a starting point I reccoment u read 'no logo' by naomi klein.
Just for a starting point.

Capitalism sees money not humans

The US did go to the UN first!

03.11.2005 11:51

Quote: "With the military attack and invasion of Iraq in March 2003 the US acted once again as a "Rogue State" and violated the UN Charter."

But the USA did go to the United Nations first to state and complain that Iraq was refusing to comply with the original United Nations resolutions ordering it to fully open up the country to UN weapons inspectors so that they could search for and destroy weapons of mass destruction! The United Nations was about to pass a new resolution authorising military action against Iraq should it continue to refuse to comply with the UN weapons inspections, when France and Germany threatened to veto any military action against Iraq - Why? because they both had lucrative oil contracts with Iraq.

You also totally ignore the gross human rights violations which occured under Saddam Husseins' 24 year brutal rule such as the gassing of 5,000 Kurds at Halabja, the two Gulf Wars one with Iran and one with Kuwait. The massacre of hundreds of thousands of Shias and Kurds during the 1991 failed uprising against Saddam. etc. The world and especially Iraq are a damn sight safer and better off now that Saddam Hussein and his vile regime have been removed!

"Consumption alone vitalises capital and makes it capable of yielding profits...It is idle to attack Imperialism or Militarism as political expedients or policies unless the axe is laid at the economic root of the tree." - J.A. Hobson

Actually

The UN weapons inspectors reported that they were making 'considerable progress' when it came to searching Iraq for WMD's and said attacking Iraq now would be a 'bad idea' as there was co-operation from the state with the UN.

So u ask yourself this. Why were Britain and the US so much in a hurry to attack Iraq?.........and where the hell are the weapons dipshit coz id certainly like to know.

No matter how vile a regime no other country has the right to invade another. Its against the law.

the vast majority of Iraqis support the ressistance and even the suicide bombings and oppose the occupation forces (look at MOD polls in Iraq)so fuck off with your lame excuses about getting rid of an evil dictator and giving the Iraqis freedom. They dont want your fucking freedom.

see no evil hear no evil

German's have no Veto, US uses Veto most of all.

03.11.2005 21:23

Look "Voice of Reason" if the US/UK had a majority on the Security Council for an invasion of Iraq then they would have gone for a vote and then forced France's hand to veto (Germany has no veto on the Security Council - so much for your 'voice of reason' if you can't get a simple fact about the UN straight!).
If the US/UK had a majority but it was vetoed by the French then Tony Blair would have been in the position of saying "Look we've got a majority its just the French being awkward." which would have given him a stronger position within his party.
The US doesn't give a damn about the UN except when it serves their purpose.

By the way: The USA vetoes more Security Council resolutions than any other country. No surprise there.
