I wonder if an attack on the Queen by one of these groups will vindicate Blair's warning that MPs would regret nobbling the anti terror legislation. They are reported to be endorsing the opinions of "Zarqawi" that she's an "enemy of Islam". You could almost think they shared the government's strategic objectives..

Why the death of Israel? Ok it has a fascist government and committs attrocities but we must work together with people from all over the world to get this changed. But asking for the end of Israelis extreme. By the sounds of it this is a religious extremist group and thats why it shouldbe opposed. We need co-operation from working class people of all backgrounds to make the revolution a workers one and not a religious one.

Is far more superior to what u have in place. Which is a monarchy which has unbelievable wealth and a struggling people who excuse her right to that wealth by using lame excuses such as 'its our herritage' (where did i hear that one from) Ok so let me get this straight. Its your herritage to struggle to pay bills overdrafts loans mortgages and work the longest hours in europe while some stupid idiot can put a crown on her head and watch east benders all day while having unconcievable ammount of money. Of course we got invaded by many countries during our history whats your point? Did i ever say we had an advanced military? Did i ever say we invented maths and writing?? You may know how to read but your understanding skills arent that good are they now. Even though we didnt invent maths we weer developing and teaching maths in ancient times. Same with writing. In the meantime in the UK people were litterally living in caves. Which is still more advanced than what you do now. You are now what the the Romans and the Turks were in the past. You invade countries, economically rape them and are hated by more or less the rest of the world. Greece went through that phase during the reign of that prick Alexander and its a black part of Greek History. Its a good thing it was so long ago and isnt happening today. We too have suffered because of Britain if you look at the g=Greek civil war it was started by the British coz they knew that the Greek communist Party had the Makority support n the country. So they sent troops to fight with the minority monarchist party. So u placed a monarchy in Greece but it didnt last long. Fighting spirit. Thats our herritage and no matter how much the west tries to take that from us it wont happen. So back to watching east benders, crying over the death of diana and celebrating the queens jubillee.

Right on cue, the slanging matches begin. This is a shame, as there was so much potential in Indymedia. At one point, even the 'established left', people like the trade unions and papers like the Morning Star began reporting favourably on the site. But if I were a youngster now, interested in progressive / activist politics and checking out Indymedia, I would probably swtich it off in five minutes, disillusioned.

No Israel does not and never has committed atrocities, unless you call fighting back against well armed terrorist gangs atrocities! If an Indymedia article was posted about animal rights in dairy farms, within minutes some people would be saying that it's part of a global Jewish conspiracy, and others would argue that the presence of cows that coukld potentially be used as weapons means Israel should flatten everything from Palestine to Pakistan.

I was extremely wrong to even put people in a category like i did with british and greeks. It was a moment when i got really pissed off with the GOD SAVE the QUEEN guy and his attack on my culture vs his. And as usually happens when one gets pissed off they attack in an extreme length. Ive been in the UK for 4 years studying and iv met some of the best and worst people il ever meet. I dont identify myself as a geek rather as a person of the world and realise that if people should be put into categories that shouldnt be because of theyr countryDespite what my previous post showed.

So apologies for that post. Its was more of a rant than a thoughtful piece. PS whats up with indy hiding peoples comments?
