Which is probably why one of them is called a terrorist and the other isn't (except on Indymedia, where one is not a terrorist and the other is).

And is the rumour true anyway?

Every time the police pick someone up because their house was full of instructions on making bombs, Indymedia types rush to their defence, saying it's obviously all been planted and that there's no other evidence to support it.
Yet when a national tabloid that famously published fake pictures from Iraq turns up a piece of paper that supposedly puts George Bush in a bad light, suddenly it's rock-solid proof, no questions asked.
I'm not saying it's fake, I'm not saying it's real, but the double standards here are pretty hard to swallow.

Bush has killed 150,000 in just 2 years and only in 1 country. We also have the afghan ones he killed.
They are both terrorists, only 1 is more dangerous for the world.
Can you guess who??
PS it was all good when the US was funding bin laden to impose his extremist taliban regime in afghanistan in the 80s. The taliban govt in afghanistan were funded by the USA all the way up untill 11th of September 2001.
So you get an extra bonus if u spot the hypocrite too.

FTB, the reason we doubt everything the government ever says is because, quite frankly, they have shown they deserve this distrust, since they have lied time and time again, and can be shown, quite easily, to have been deceiving us. Mr. Galloway, on the other hand, has been proved to be right about a great many things, about how the Iraq war would develop, about the absence of weapons of mass destruction, and his accusations have been shown to be correct over time.
Now, whether or not I like him is besides the point. Who has proven to be correct? Who has shown themselves as more trustworthy? I'm not inclined to believe Galloways accusers, since they are the same people who have lied to us constantly from the beginning. Maybe they're correct this time, but you know what, I'm going to take everything they say with a big pinch of cynicism, because they have done NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING, to earn my respect and trust. They lie and spin and defame, and then people like you come along to lie and spin and defame for them.

If you're referring to the torture pictures set in trucks which were depot'ed in the UK at the time, personally I thought that was a deliberate PR stunt by the army. IIRC there was never any explanation via an investigation as to who faked those pictures and how they did it.
The fact that two civil servants are being prosecuted under the Official Secrets Act also proves that the memo must have been genuine. The government would not shoot themselves in the foot by doing that if they knew that this information wasn't truthful and incriminating.

People also forget that dozens of other similar September 11th style terrorists attacks on the United States have been thwarted. That even here in Britain dozens of terrorist attacks have also been thwarted. And that we are winning the war on terrorism with thousands of terrorists arrested and thousands more killed. We have got the terrorists on the run!

has he ever admitted this? I've never seen him admit to anything. I've seen him call a holy war to defend Islamic nations from the satanic threat, but i have never seen him admit to anything at all.
many folk in afghanistan believe he died long ago and is just put on screen from time to time to scare americans. afghans also (mostly) believe that there is no such network of people call Al Qaeda and that this is also a term used by western elite to keep their populations scared.
(my partner is over there as a care worker and is sending me back this information after talking to people there)
bush is an idiot. that's why he's useful. people look at him and think "there's no way that guy is a military mastermind" and it's true. he just does what he believes and doesn't interact with the world much. the people backing him that are working endlessly to consolidate their power (military, economic, political) - they're the ones to watch.
