A Patriot's Letter

A call to action to Americans from an American. Please distribute as much as possible by any means.

My fellow Americans and Patriots:

With the pen mightier than the sword, it is with great responsibility that I write to you and share some insight into the direction our country has been heading in conjunction with the overall public opinion. We all know of the aggressions in Iraq and with each death of a soldier or a citizen, their blood stains our flag red tainting and perverting the Liberty and Freedom that it stands for. I allude not to socialism as a red flag symbolizes, but to the loss of Liberty and Freedom along with the lives of civilians and soldiers alike in the façade of pursuing terrorism. It is with this in mind that we must set aside the petty differences that have splintered this nation and its people, the partisan battles and left/right exchange of accusations. We must come together as the people, for the people and remind those in Washington D.C. who they are elected to serve the interests of. We must come together to let freedom ring, from every mountain, from every valley, from every stream, from every city, from coast to coast, from you to your neighbor, from American to American. We must do the right thing and put this nation back on track, restore the respect and opportunities America and Americans once had on this Earth.

Make no mistake, this is not an attack on an individual or a party rather a travesty and abomination that such behavior and mindset was not only allowed to exist where it did but gather together and try to consolidate power. I care not for labels, I care about the facts and the position held by the person responsible for their actions as they alone chose to make their move. A label covers up things, there has been enough of this done by our Government as it is. Let us remove those labels and see things for what they are, the only label we need to retain for each other is who we are: American.

As a responsible civilization, we all respect the law and have the power to change it. When that law is broken, justice is to be blind and care not for the wealth and status of the accused; the same laws apply the same to every citizen. We must teach this to our children and they must see it work, these laws keep us safe and from destroying things. When this core value starts to erode, so does and has our society. This degeneration must not be allowed to continue, it is the duty of the people to restore the pillar of justice that holds our society up; we the people in order to restore our Union and come together again as Americans denounce dishonesty and deceit, for it does not represent us.

Article II, Section 4.

“The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

Article VI, Clause 2.

“This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.”

Treaties formally entered by the United States are considered the law OF the United States and subject to our judicial systems while bound to the treaty. The United States Senate, by a vote of 89 to 2, gave its consent to the ratification of the UN Charter on July 28, 1945 and we joined the United Nations on October 24th, 1945.

Chapter 1, Article 2 of the UN Charter states:

3.All Members shall settle their international disputes by peaceful means in such a manner that international peace and security, and justice, are not endangered.

4. All Members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, or in any other manner inconsistent with the Purposes of the United Nations.

The United States is also bound by the Nürnburg Tribunal Charter, which is based upon UN Resolution 290 “Essentials of peace” in the Fourth General Assembly session on December 1st, 1949.

It calls upon every nation:

2. To refrain from threatening or using force contrary to the Charter.

3. To refrain from any threats or acts, direct or indirect, aimed at impairing the freedom, independence or integrity of any State, or at fomenting civil strife and subverting the will of the people in any State.

11. To settle international disputes by peaceful means and to co-operate in supporting United Nations efforts to resolve outstanding problems.

Principle VI:

The crimes hereinafter set out are punishable as crimes under; international law:

a. Crimes against peace:

i. Planning, preparation, initiation or waging of a war of aggression or a war in

violation of international treaties, agreements or assurances;

ii .Participation in a common plan or conspiracy for the accomplishment of any

of the acts mentioned under (i).

In October of 2002 Congress and the American public were fed lies and military force was authorized, then in February of 2003 a written statement form of the lies was read to the UN General Assembly which purported to this day unfounded accusations against a sovereign nation and member of the UN; Iraq who joined December 21st, 1945. This was all based on unfounded, unsubstantiated intelligence that was possibly fixed whom even Britain’s Downing Street questioned the reliability of.

On March 19th of 2003 under the direct orders of the President and his Administration unilateral aggressive hostilities were unleashed against Iraq and it’s people. Iraq still has never been remotely tied or associated to the tragedy of 9/11, Al Qaeda, uranium purchases in Niger, aluminum tubing or having any viable international military capability at that time. Shock and awe indeed. The current price paid in human life? Over 2,000 and growing of America’s young men and women have perished; estimates for civilian casualties run as high as 100,000 and growing, though it will be truly hard to account for every victim of this action. The financial price of the war is upwards of $220 billion dollars and rising. All based on lies. All because a group of people think they are above the law. My fellow Americans, I say they are not above the laws and are just as accountable as we are. We have the power the power to right these wrongs, the power to show the world the actions of these thugs are not supported by the American people and are not the will of the American people. We must ask our Senators and Representatives, especially on the judiciary committee, to impeach these criminals. I personally do not agree with lies, deceit, treachery and being underhanded, but I know I can look my children and grand children and great grandchildren in their eyes and tell them truthfully I opposed this and this behavior is not acceptable. What will you be able to tell your children and grandchildren and great grandchildren when you look them in the eye? Generations will pay for these lies, what legacy do you want to leave for them?
