Psychology... such an interesting concept. Every conman uses psychology, some instinctively, but the smarter ones through at least some active study.

What is a conman? Someone who, for a limited time at least, persuades you to WILLINGLY act against your own interests. But what on Earth would make a person do that?

There is a more important observation, however, and one that is KEY to the CON. Ordinary Humans tend to be ARROGANT and STUPID at the same time. What do I mean? Well, it is the very belief a person has in his/her self that they CANNOT be fooled that allows them to be fooled.

You see, there is that which is true, and that which you THINK is true, and the difference between the two is exactly what the conman exploits.

Now I can show a thousand times over from the history of our planet how each of the above active aid Blair, and promote his path to war with Iran. Sadly, I have known people successfully conned, even after I have explained beforehand the exact nature of the con, and they have agreed that they understand it. Flatter a person, tell them what they want to hear, and bingo, their brain gives up all idea of logic, or application of previous knowledge, and the con once again successfully plays out.

First, Twilight is a nazi twat. His/her post on at least one other subject, where s/he implied that the 1917 Russian Revolution was the work of the Jews, was quite rightly removed by the moderators. (well done folks).

On the protest, there was a huge banner saying that 100,000 Iraqis had died, and the banners saying US/UK out of Iraq made it quite clear what side we were on.

This was demonstarting against the fact that 100 mainly working class UK troops had died in Blair's war. Some of them would no doubt have dome things that were repugnant, cos war and the military fucks up your head, but if we are going to build support from working class people then we need to have protests like the one on wednesday.
