20 years ago when I interviewed Marita Johansson in Sweden, a survivor of the Nazi death camps in which arms Anne Frank of typhoid had died - as she told me - I did not only want to see the tatooed number on her arm - it was there - and other facts I could check - but report honestly.
None of the people commenting on the violation of our Freedom of Speech, jailing people for their ideas as written about in the article "Are we all David Irvings now? Where's our freedom of speech?" - uses any of the many links offered as references.

FPF/Europe - Feb. 22 - 2006 - American publicist William F. Buckley Jr. - writing in the National Review Online* - is totally correct when writing: "Henk Ruyssenaars of the Foreign Press Foundation is burning with indignation and points out the dangers of ordained history." But also Buckley Jr. forgets to point the reader in the right direction. Nor would I use Galileii's first name in referring to him. But that may be a matter of good manners. In the article links are used, but not to the 'indignation' article, in defense of 'freedom of speech'.*
Buckley: "We will perhaps hear many protests about what has happened under Austrian justice. Henk Ruyssenaars of the Foreign Press Foundation is burning with indignation and points out the dangers of ordained history. The journalist cites, of course, Galileo “who is closely associated with the scientific revolution but who 373 years ago had to stand trial for what he thought, said and wrote. It took the Vatican’s ‘Ringling Brothers’ in Rome 359 years to agree with Galileo. On 31 October 1992 Pope John Paul II officially announced ‘that the Church had mishandled the case." [end quote*]

My whole article concerning the maltreatment of writer and historian David Irving basically defends the right we all have: the right to our own thoughts, ideas and opinions. If I want to write that the Earth is as flat as a pancake, I will. If I want to investigate and question why the Americans after 40 years and a thousandfold better technology, not have been back to the Moon, I'll research that and say what I think. If I want to question Einstein's E=MC/2 relativity or Darwin's Evolution theory, I will. And I'll put forward any questions I like concerning another 'truth' and all it's stories which I've been brought up with: the Holocaust.
When I reported on my meeting 20 years ago with Marita Johansson in Sweden, a refugee and survivor of the Nazi concentration camps, in which arms Anne Frank had died - of typhoid - as she told me, I do not only want to see the tatooed number on her arm - it was there - and other facts I can check - but also report the way I want: unabridged and not 'politically correct'. I have a lawfull right and duty to report and tell it as I see it. My readers and/or listeners do not expect opportunistic lies, nor do people you tell your opinions.
You and I by international law have the right to say what we think, and nobody may take it from us. Lest put us in jail for what we think, write or say, and have it called 'justice'. Justice for whom? It is bad enough that in many countries our votes already have been stolen by rigged electronic votings, like in the United States.
HAVING OUR OWN OPINION AND SPEAKING ABOUT THINGS WE THINK MATTER, IS OUR RIGHT.*
As English writer Evelyn Beatrice Hall (1868 - 1919) - not Voltaire - is quoted as saying: "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." But again the contrary is happening now: people are put in jail for their ideas and/or sayings.
Questions concerning the Holocaust are globally forbidden, but insulting a billion Muslims is OK?
Eric Margolis, an experienced Canadian observer and writer, commented the 'Cartoon Jihad' by the West: "Promoting hatred and scorn for Islam and Muslims has become the only socially and legally acceptable modern prejudice. Question the Holocaust in Germany or Austria and you go to jail, as Pat Buchanan just wrote. Doing the same in Canada gets you jailed or expelled. What has much more been in the making, and which I as an independent journalist and life long global correspondent for many decades have seen and experienced, is what George Bush and his cabal has been doing - the media concentration into one big bad megaphone for the war mongering PNAC cabal - a danger which already the other George warned for:
"If the freedom of speech is taken away, then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter. - George Washington
That's what cabal supporters like Buckley Jr. do: applauding the fact that anybody's right to free speech is jailed, and supporting the global genocides for the profit of this PNAC pest for humanity, with Buckley-like comments like this, explaining that jailing people because they have different ideas is 'justice':

Buckley and the PNAC pack want us to forget the following: Freedom of speech is often regarded as an integral concept in modern liberal democracies, where it is understood to outlaw censorship. The right to freedom of speech is guaranteed under international law through numerous human rights instruments, notably under Article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights.*
And, as British/Jewish Nobel Prize Literature Laureate Harold Pinter said: "People do not forget. They do not forget the death of their fellows, they do not forget torture and mutilation, they do not forget injustice, they do not forget oppression, they do not forget the terrorism of mighty powers. They not only don't forget: they also strike back.*
We are not 'dumb and silent' - and we'll never forget those trying to take our rights away.
