UK Pensions Mass Strike, 28th March 'Red Tuesday!' More Rallies announced.

Barry Kade | 25.03.2006 20:15 | Social Struggles | Workers' Movements

Red Tuesday - 28th March will see mass strikes against capitalist attacks in both Britain and France.
In Britain, the strike will be to defend workers pension rights, and will involve 1.5 million workers. It could be the largest strike here since the 1926 general strike.

UPDATED LIST (As of Sat 25th March)of Pensions Strike Rallies on Tues March 28:

This is still only a small proportion of all the days rallies and marches which will happen in the centres of most towns and cities. There will also be thousands of picket lines everywhere in the UK. Even if your locality is not listed here, there will be a picket line at your local town hall, school, college, university, leisure centre, airport, bus depot and many other places where workers are affected by the assault on the local govt pension scheme.

All are welcome to join in and show their solidarity. This is a fight for us all! If capitalism gets up your nose, then picket!

Also, please visit your local pickets and rallies with a camera and notebook and then post the story on Indymedia!
