Wrong embassy

29.06.2006 18:16

Since you advertise "Two nations, two states", and Israel agrees with that, maybe the embassy you should picket is the Palestinian Office, as at the moment it is only the Palestinian governement of Hamas who does not want two states and refuses to recognise Israel.

utterly wrong embassy

genius whoever wrote the manifesto for the demonstration

Two Nations, Two States? it's the Hamas government who said that they will never recognise Israel and never accept a two-state solution.

WIthdrawal from Gaza and West Bank? Israel withdrew from Gaza last year, and the Palestinian response was hundreds of rockets and Qassam missiles being shot at Israel, and the kidnapping of the two kids this week. Israel elected a government whose stated aims include withdrawing from the west-bank, the only obstacle is the palestinian terrorists.

If I was in England now, and not in Israel, in the army, with other things on my mind, I'd gladly join the protest.I agree with what you want, you're just confused about who you're against.

Shabbat Shalom!

Your Dishonesty Makes Me Think Otherwise

"it's the Hamas government who said that they will never recognise Israel"

Actually, several officials have recently signalled that this would be up for debate during negotiations, Unfortunately, the Zionist Hardliners currently controlling Israel do not Negotiate, nor Compromise. And it was their unwillingness to recognize a Palestinian State which led us to this current conflict.

This is, after all, Zionism's War.

"Withdrawal from Gaza and West Bank?"

While the media was busy praising Israel for removing its ILLEGAL settlers from Gaza, it actually annexed more territory in the W. Bank than it "sacrificed" in Gaza. The first thing it did upon leaving Gaza was surround the world's largest concentration camp with artillery emplacements, in a operation ominously called "First Rain".

"the Palestinian response was hundreds of rockets and Qassam missiles being shot at Israel"

One man has been killed, and three injured by this "massive barrage". Meanwhile, Israel has killed 42 Palestinian civilians in just the past two weeks. (That is before their recent incursions into Gaza, which I'm sure have raised that number by now).

Aside from small pockets of fighters, under the control of no official voice, the Palestinians have held true to a cease-fire for over a year. The Israelis, during this time, have killed countless civilians, in routine raids, shelling, and airstrikes in Palestinian territories.

"and the kidnapping of the two kids this week."

One of the "kids" was a soldier, preparing to take part in a raid on Rafah. The other was an Extremist Settler, there illegally.

It's funny that a soldier becomes a "kid", according to Israeli/Zionist Hasbara/Propaganda, but the murder of Palestinian babies and children gets no mention ...

"Israel elected a government whose stated aims include withdrawing from the west-bank"

"Stated" is not the same as "Doing". The Extremists in Tel Aviv actually called for an all-out assault on Gaza weeks ago, and just last week acting Prime Minister, Ehud Olmert (who's so Extreme, even his daughter is protesting his policies) recently stated that "Israeli lives are more important than Palestinian ones".

They have greatly increased the rate at which they are seizing territory in the W, Bank, and are proponents of the "Clean Break", unilateral "solution" to the Palestinian Question, written by the Neo-Fascists responsible for all of our current turmoil and Madness.
