. . despite every intel group of every nation in the world - USA too - saying that the "911-iraq" thing was worse than false - but in fact has misled the entire energy of the USA, UK armed forces AWAY from the actual prevention of terror to what even the chief of the UK army has said EXACERBATES the threat, every minute the occupation CREATING terrorists.
Any doubts that this administration was somehow a bit controlled by a "minderbinder" war-racketeer faction are quelled by the amazing news that the inquiry/audit group looking at the extreme budget spend of the "occupation authority" has had its funds withdrawn by a "last second" clause slipped into a congressional measure - about something else !!!!
As the vice-pres goes up the mountain to sacrifice his daughter to the "golden cow" of secular "cost-plus-percentage" deals, the fact that nero tried to smear the early christians as cannibals is what comes to mind when the alleged prejudice of evangelists coming out to vote against longterm loving relationships that celebrate monogamy or commitment - yet refuse to see a problem with the "double-usery" of some of the scams that have profitted under the cover of this "war for distraction" .
Wages are down, personal debt is up, government debt is rocketing, the amount of terrorists in the world HAS increased in a massive way - entirely due to mistaken strategies - dictators lock people up with renewed ease, show trials or lack of trials. . . . even foreign countries that WERE negotiating, having gotten told they are a bit of some "axis" - have gotten nukes . . . .
Yet for the sake of trying to cement in this very dubious "war" against terrorism, the people that told us there was some iraqi-niger nuke deal, that UBL was practically iraqi, that together they had WMD nukes they COULD FIRE AT US WITHIN 45 MINUTES . . . . if WE say - something smells - they say WE are conspiracy nuts.

The fact that exit polls etc might have gotten got to this time too doesnt mean ANYBODY should trust those voting machines - but lots of people can do "exit polls"- ETC, ETC, ETC. ETC. Even the radicals that have a VERY good critique of the entire voting system might prefer a court with integrity to a "defence" brief in the pocket of the local rackets when they get hauled up after some protest.

Its worth watching. Its worth thinking about a lot.
If "war means strange bedfellows" then stopping this "forever-war" mess might mean even stranger "bedfellows". We neednt agree about everything to stop these scams - then that might open up a future we can talk about renewing the SPIRITS of democracy again, to solve problems rather than perpetuating them for the "rake off"s, - to celebrate this diversity of traditions - that we probably NEED to overcome these scams. . . .
. . . .we might never get a chance to choose a different course than disaster again - the interference in societies workings by these criminals has had structural effects - but its criminal. Further than that - even with all the "spin" - its clumsy, in a time that the effects of the consequences of the con sequences escalate . . . . fast .

"we are all from america" was written over a sign after 911 here - perhaps the "wars" have deafened people in america a bit to the fact that others all over the world were with you then - in the ghettoes, the deserts, the refugee camps, the mountains. The same people that came out against the war, after , too.

People aint stupid - we aint ACTUALLY played against each other as much as the caricatures of the TV news might have us think - but it IS time to stop the scams, time to re-include some of the voices that have got suppressed or pushed to the margins - if it wasnt for the rackets the mainstream IS often that sort of "sense over cents" after all .

BUT IF WE LET THIS "CULTURE CLASH" MACHINE ENSLAVE US - WE REALLY AINT WORTH THE EFFORT TO "REACH FOR THE STARS" EXCEPT AS THE DUPES IN A SUCCESSION OF "HOLD-UPS". . . . then disaster.
