Genova G8 Cops get off as the evidence disapears into thin air

Toscana Massonica | 18.01.2007 11:44 | Genoa | Repression

Genova, well it was a set up from the start cops beat the living shit out of sleeping innocents on plant the basis of evidence in the form of a crate full of petrol bombs, it kooked like an open and shut case. But today "La Repubblica" (masso'cronace)newspaper reports that the petrol bombs are no more they are in fact ex petrol bombs and the case against the cops is as the they say "finito" no evidence no case. The whole trial and inquiry into the events of the G8 in Genoa have been a farce.

The article waffles on about what might have happened to the "Le molotov" and there will now be an inquiry which will try and clear up the latest of a series of mysteries surrounding G8 Genoa.
One of the cops Francesco Borré (Polizia), shrugged his shoulders disconcertedly and explains that that he arrived at the police station in 2002 one year after the G8 and he never dealt with the
matter. But, he goes onto say that there is a record of what goes in and out which he believes is
theorectically the responsibilty of the Digos (plain clothes military cops, Carabinieri).
This might sound outrageous to anyone who don't know how things work in Italy actually it is just another run of the mill every day event.

cops over egging importance of loss of bottles

18.01.2007 18:47

The judge today confirmed the trial will continue despite the magic vanishing evidence. They will revisit this section of the trial later, hopefully when more is known about where the bottles went...

The police have been pushing their PR to the media saying it's all over - well it isn't not, not by a longshot.

They were also trying to make out that the two bottles had not even been seen by the prosecutor, Enrico Zucca, which is of course utter rubbish.
