this will be due to police pressure, the person who ran this campaign was only a young boy, i think the pressures were all too much for him, somone told me he was scared of the police locking him up after they sat on him when he was arrested. may be he will rejoin animal rights when he is older and wiser.

This is not the first time this young lad has dropped a campaign due to police pressure. It is a shame that the campaign didn't have a solid structure to stop this from happening.

Some people just don't listen to good advice. Some good work was done but now the police has closed down two campaigns! Sends out the wrong message.

Alot of good work was done but I fear this will undo everything..

The problem here was a young guy, doing a great job yes, but who simply wouldn't listen to advice from his elders. Running a campaign from home, getting raided on a monthly basis as a result and making no secrets of the fact that he was a player in the national A.R. movement, hardly covert ! Yes blatant cheek amuses the masses, as does rubbing plod up the wrong way and playing the panto clown to an audience on demos, but now look whats happened. It's all very sad but there is a lesson to be learned.

Maybe, people shouldn't have to be secretive about their campaigns? Especially when they are totally legitimate - under SOCPA the cops made legal protest against suppliers illegal which is utter bollocks. Luke is a great guy and has done more for the animal liberation movement at his age that most people have in their lifetimes. Just because NARN isn't going anymore doesn't mean animal rights activists will cease demos up north it simply means that the obvious "animal rights Network" which the cops love so much wont exist. Now they will have to get their fat donut eating arses out on expensive evidence gathering operations. - Good work!

Maybe instead of slatting some of you should so some fucking solidarity with those who go the extra mile.

The NARN campaign was never short of good advice, the Plod have closed down fuck all, there are specific reasons for not broadcasting planned events and actions, they seem determined to drive the whole movement underground and they're doing a great job of it too, more fool them. The days of huge demos and legal tatics are clearly numbered, time to sleep by day and 'work' by night....................................

Wouldn't be the same Andrew who writes abusive letters to people involved in the abuse industry would it? The very same who puts his name and address on the envelope?

The campaign was doomed to fail because of a certain person who wanted to be in control and wouldn't take advice from others.

A sniff of reality in the form of police raids and a possible stretch in a young offenders institution was enough deflate egos.

B&K is a breeders that we can all close but it will take more than a handful of kids acting like dickheads. B&K should be taken on by experienced campaigners with the rest of the movement behind them.

NARNs did some good campaigning and shut down loads of fur selling but now these shops are going to start up again with the campaign shut down. All this talk of going underground is just pisshead talk.

You might look back over the past few years and you will notice a drastic decline in direct action. I did notice some SUV direction action going on in the name of the ALF, do you think this was on the way back from the pub?

Looks like the filth are using the old tactic of stirring up fake arguments to try to get some activist to shout their mouth off. Also to make it look to none activists as if the Animal Lib movement is backstabbing. Well don't believe it - this is an old tactic and is often used. Remember the only people who would ever benefit from bickering are the animal abusers and the filth neither of which are below using this sort of shit stirring, don't give them any info at all.

Well done NARN for what you have done up til now and good luck to all those who will move on to less public ways.

hang on!

There is NO mention of the campaign against Sequani going anywhere. Ok, the website is going down but hell, do you think people who have spent over 20 years protesting outside that deathcamp are just going to go home and forget it? No chance.

Regular weekly demos are still taking place at deathcamp Sequani every single week and that isn't about to change just because the SSAT website is being taken down.

The site became a bit of a 'cop's morning newspaper' if you will, now activists just want to pull the blinds down and get on with it without being in the spotlight (or giving the cops ANYTHING to work with).

You're welcome to pass this msg on to anyone who thinks this campaign is disappearing.

Details of regional and national demos at Sequani will be posted on sites like imc, keep on fighting etc when they come about.

Muncher you are a coward hiding behind a computer and all this shit spreading by activists in the north is becoming tedious. If anyone has anything to say about me then knock on my door and say it to my face instead of hiding behind a computer!

It's has come to something when we receive hate mail and people slagging us off on the internet when we have to cope with the prospect of going to prison this Tuesday leaving our kids in the shit!!! I will be going away for 2 or 3 years for the same stupidity NARN activists got wrapped up in.

I will not stoop to your low level by slagging a fellow activist off, something the north is good at.

I have been on very strict bail conditions for the last 20 months now and one condition is that I am not allowed to attend any animal rights demos, I also have to sleep at my house every night and even when I go to court I need to inform the police where I will be stopping over so they can make sure it's not an activists house I am staying at.

I have had my home raided 6 times and on each occasion my front and back door were smashed in, all computers, mobiles, clothes, cameras, and camcorders were taken. I had my seven seater back with so much damage to the inside I had to replace the lot! We came back from the AR gathering 2005 to a house that was wrecked and ALL our clothes taken, even the kids stuff was taken by the police.

On one raid my wife was beaten in her own bed by 4 male police, she was naked and they held her down and punched her while holding her legs over her back and pushing her face into the bed so she couldn't breath, all this in front of screaming kids trying to help her!!

My 13 year old daughter was singled out at the Newchurch demos and dragged off by a few male police while she was screaming. This was for standing still!

Don't tell me about what I have and haven't done. Don't tell me I am nothing until you can say it to my face.

THE PROBLEM IS THAT SOME PEOPLE WITHIN THE ANIMAL RIGHTS MOVEMENT ARE JUST LOOKING TO TRY AND CONTROL OTHER PEOPLE TO BOOST THEIR SILLY LITTLE EGO'S AND MAKE THEM FEEL MORE IMPORTANT. I AM THINKING OF THE LEADERS OF NARN, SHAC AND SPEAK CAMPAIGNS PRIMARILY, IN FACT THE ONLY ANIMAL RIGHTS GROUP TO MY MIND THAT HAS PEOPLE THAT DO NOT HAVE THEIR HEADS UP THEIR OWN BACKSIDES IS THE MAGNIFICENT ANIMAL LIBERATION FRONT, WHICH LET'S FACT IT WILL ALWAYS BE NUMBER ONE IN FIGHTING FOR THE ANIMALS.
