Riots

How To Riot Without Being Totally Ransacked.

First off, have a shield. Anything metallic is best. If the material is curved this will help spread the impact of a baton and help reduce damage.

Anything that protects the head is ideal.

Medics should ideally be on standby behind the front line. Anyone injured should be pulled back and given first aid. The front line must be tight and fluid, always pushing forward.

Vans and other vehicles may be used to prevent the police from pushing through barricades with their vehicles, always followed by hoardes of police men.

Goggles, scarves and gas masks for everyone as CS gas is very inhibiting. Lemon juice helps absorb CS, so have a bottle ready to splash on your scarf if the shells start flying. Furthermore, there should be no fleeing from the gas, people should ideally move forward to the barricades and throw the tear gas back at the police lines. If the police beak through then the demonstrators are at complete mercy to the batons, often isolated and shocked. If the protest moves towards the police then both sides are affected by the gas.

Any implement that acts in the same way as a baton could be used to defend yourself against police brutality.

Paint can be used to cover the shields and visors of riot police, restricting their field of vision.
Smoke can be used to shield our actions and lure the police into ambushes. The thin leaves of ever greens produce huge amounts of smoke with a somewhat green tinge when placed on a fire. These are used as smoke signals in survival exercises regarding the military.

If anyone out there feels like they could drive a vehicle through a police line and ensure that the gates of Babylon are opened to the public on a crucial day then I applaud you!

Solidarity is essential.

The police are not intelligent. They know only violence. They resemble the hench men of some brutal dictatorship. Fascism is evident in their actions of zero tolerance and smashing to bits anything that they perceive to be a threat. There can never be any negotiation between us and the police because they simply will not listen. The only way to avoid them is taking control of government. Devolution will work wonders as they would then only exist to protect the interests of the local community rather than the State.

Wishing you all a mind blowing Easter holiday.
