Blair's magic ruler

Blair's-ruler3
Is better than Harry Potter’s wand.
In difficult circumstances all Blair has to do is draw a line with his golden ruler and utter the magic words “I take full responsibility” and everything is right again.
In really difficult circumstances, like the slaughter of 600,000 people, he must also ask the magic question “Will this happen again?” and repeat the magic answer “No” and everyone’s eyes cloud over”.
If the problem appears to be lingering he must add the final magic phrase “Let’s move on”. And that’s the end of that.
Lesser problems like the destruction the NHS, the Education System, the Police, the Transport System and corrupting every good historical institution of the Government at the same time as turning the country into a Surveillance State can also be blocked out of the citizen’s mind with Blair’s magic ruler.
Smaller versions of Blair’s ruler have been given to selected ministers, like Des Brown in the cash for stories saga, to see if they work.
This experiment is ongoing and there is no need to draw a line under it yet.
