!! G 8 BREAKING NEWS !! police declares protest march on june 7th illegal

no G 8 ! | 11.05.2007 12:24 | G8 Germany 2007 | Globalisation | Repression | Social Struggles | World

Incredible! As reported today on indymedia Germany  http://www.germany.indymedia.org/2007/05/176460.shtml a spokesman of the Einsatzleitung of the police declared the planned international anti-G 8 protest march in Rostock on june the 7th for illegal and forbidden!

The protest march was planned that way: many marches from Bad Doberan, Kühlungsborn, Nienhagen, Kröpelin unite in Heiligendamm to one march.

Police yesterday said these marches have to be cancelled completely because they could make it impossible for police and for first aid to act freely.

Organisations and members of the german anti-G 8 movement will go to court to fight for their right to protest.

German conservative press, like Focus and Die Welt came up with all sort of lies: a journalist with the pseudonym hal wrote that left-winged terrorists would threaten to execute G 8 members:  http://www.welt.de/politik/article864740/G-8-Gegner_sollen_Exekutionen_erwogen_haben.html

And more repression: minister Schäuble plans, with the help of old 3rd Reich laws, pre-emtive arrests.

ho ho ho the german state

with all these raids and bans, well at least the German state is doing a great pre-emptive job of making the anti-g8 protests more widely publicised and of course likely to be much more popular, intense, effective etc. Just like the eviction of Ungdomshuset in Copenhagen. If they wanted to stamp out a movement, well, they just created an even more determined one. Ha ha the German state

nutjob

Protest = Terror. Schäuble quote:

11.05.2007 13:59

Once more a state official tries to connect legitimate protest with acts of terror. Schäuble justified his crazy plan for pre-emptive arrests of protesters in Spiegel online by saying:

"Wir sollten gewarnt sein: Während des G-8-Treffens in Gleneagles hat es die schrecklichen Anschläge von London gegeben",

Transalation:

"We shall be warned: During the G8 summit in Gleneagles were the awful terror attacks on London".

Fuck them, you know all these raids, all these court proceedings, all these harasment, it just serves to feed the fire, but the fire is already burning brightly. The anger and frustration that I (we?) feel is fully justified and very real, all the things they can do, will just strengthen it, it will just increase my conviction that things have to change, and that they are all there to protect the statues quo, not the well being of the world's people, in other words it just makes me more angry, and strengthen my resolve against the G8.

Oh btw if I thought killing any of those people will change anything, they would all have already been dead, as much as I hate all of them, killing them will just get them replaced by others who would act more or less the same, the change needs to be more fundamental than that, it needs to change the order that put those people in power, not just the people in power, still the thought of the G8 leaders being gunned down is a tempting notion!

Name?

as if..

12.05.2007 00:05

..anyone would even get close to the fuckers. Like it or not, it won't be the anarchists or the protestors who'll kill the leaders, it will be themselves, when they engage in some other stupid little war.

Terror? Yeah right.. 25 cops to police a peaceful solidarity action in London, while on my way home a massive brawl started on the tube and it took them forever to get there. Do your fucking jobs (I know you're reading) and protect the children and the people, stop caring about private property and profitable companies so much.
