Thirty years ago Saddam Hussein's secret police imprisoned and tortured 14-year old Karzan - his only crime was being Kurdish. In 2005, Karzan, now a British citizen, returns to his childhood home after 25 years in exile, to ask if the people want the Western policy that is leading Iraq into a bloody civil war, or a divided Iraq. In this incredible document of a city at the crossroads of history, Karzan confronts the old demons of his, and his country's past, and the new villains and heroes who are fashioning its dangerous and uncertain future.
